Yes, it is an original. They don't make 'em like this anymore. For its condition, the BV is between $800-$1200. I was offered $1400 for it over a year ago.

Really love that one. Looks to be in great condition like you said also.

Passionately hate the Eagles, but those cards are nice. Also like the patch of him. biggrin.gif

On a side note, his signature looks pretty inconsistent among the 3. He should stop playing football and start practicing signing. smile.gif

Not a fan of sticker autos, but don't hate them as long as the signature isn't cut off or it looks bad on the card. I'm starting to phase them out and looking more towards on-card, but if I really liked something, I wouldn't turn it down because of a sticker. Seems as if most of the new products have it so it's hard to avoid if you like a particular player, but if we're talking about players that have both on-card and sticker autos like HOFers, I'd never go near the sticker. The worst is when you see dust under or creases in the sticker from carless placement, or when it's hideously crooked.

I do think "player-touched" is more appealing though as it's more personal in a way compared to a player signing a sheet of stickers.

Pic not showing up for me, but it says vyoung in the link, so I'm guessing it's a good one, especially for one pack. Congrats!

Maroney looks awesome.. I'm a fan.

How thick is that card? Never have seen one with a helmet piece in person.

Nice!

Surprising also since there's a decent amount of Bagwell fans out there.

Don't see how the Yankees 1927 WS Championship makes them a better team than Boston now. Boston is still 5 up and as I said when the Yankees were 14.5 out, it's still going to take alot to get a lead. Would I like to see it? Obviously I would and it would be great to be able to say the Sox blew such a big lead, but I'm not writing it down as happening because of a 3 game sweep.

In the Yankees defense... To all those that have said the Yankees are a long shot to make the playoffs right now anyway and have no chance if Boston gets in, are you watching the same sport I am? The Yankees have a 1 game lead in the wild card RIGHT NOW and despite losing 3/4 to the Tigers last week, are one of if not the hottest team in the 2nd half so far.

Tigers are playing minus Sheffield right now and I'm still shocked the Mariners are hanging in there with a rotation including guys like Weaver, Batista, and Horacio. Their pen is nice with Putz, but I truly don't see what they have that the Yankees don't. Banking on Felix for the first time on a big stage and a couple of young, key relievers being a big part of the makeup isn't something I'd be certain of. Ichiro is always a threat, but I'm not so fast to trust the rest of their lineup, regardless of what they've done to this point in the year. Oh, and they're on a 6 game losing streak.

did you stay for the whole thing? if so were you ready to murder yourself and everyone else around you!!  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

Was just visiting MD, I'm a Yankee fan from NY, so I definitely didn't have any problem seeing either team get murdered. I was saying how it was going to be a disappointment when they had 27 runs if they didn't get it to 30, and a few seconds later I think it was Salty that hit a 3 run shot to make it 30. It was only like 3 1/2 hours surprisingly also.. I've sat through longer games with alot less runs.

I stayed for that whole game and I left in the 3rd inning of the 2nd game (didn't expect the second game to be free anyway and had to hit the road). Just wanted to see Sosa get up once then I left. I was only a few rows from the field and Sosa looked a LOT smaller than he used to be.

I was at the game! Was on a two day trip in Baltimore/Maryland and went. It was a free doubleheader also.

Came home with Boog Powell's auto on a ball. Also have to say that Mora is an awesome guy. Sat 6 rows off the field on the 3rd base side and he was very friendly throughout.

Sox are a better team this year overall because of rotation depth, but the Yankees are looking stronger of late. Ultimately, they should win the division because of the rotation, but would love to see otherwise.

Why are you a Red Sox fan anyway? If Philly fans are so good, better than New England fans, and true to their colors, I'm guessing they aren't fans of some other team.

I'd have to guess you're a Red Sox fan through and through (since 2004) though, right?
