The most important part of all the items I just posted the pics of is the only ones I had to pay for were the Marshall, The Fridge, Ernie Banks and Mark Bortz. ALL others were obtained for free!!!

I didnt post the pic of the Pierre Pilote photo but I didn't bring it home. I gave it to a vendor who is doing a private signing with Glenn Hall next week. So in a month or so when I get it back I will post it up.

Also, without going into too much detail let's just say a hat a friend of mine was chatting up with Anthony Thomas for quite some time. He asked A-train if he would go try to get a Manning autograph for him. Anthony didn't care so my friend gave him a jersey and he walked up to Manning and got it signed! Saved my friend $300-$400!

Kinda surprised to see Mongo throw up the Horseman sign. Always thought he was not a fan of his wrestling past.

I think it depends on his mood. My friend a few months ago brought up the 4 horseman to Mongo and he just started cursing whn talking about it. I'm sure it didn't hurt that it was Micky Ward asking for the photo too lol

I went back to the Kane County Cougars game last night. They were playing the Quad Cities River Bandits which is the Cardinals Class A ball club. I wanted to get Tyrell Jenkins, their #4 overall prospect. I was only able to find 1 good image to print so I did 2 copies of it.

After striking out twice trying to get him once before the game and once after I finally got him at the team bus. He kindly posed for a photo with me and signed both items. The way he acted I think he didn't see me earlier in the night. He was just too friendly to have blown me off ya know?







Also there is a contest being run by the team. The info is below.

The contest is held by the MLB Class A Kane County Cougars. You go to a game within the last week, Mon-Sun and post a picture from it on their facebook wall. The photo with the most "likes" wins a suite for 20 people to a game. I would love to win this and take my kids to their first game!

Big update as far as volume goes. 3 Hall Of Fame Blackhawks signed for free yesterday. It was limited to two items per person. I ended up getting everything I wanted signed and then some with the exception of 1 photo.

Denis Savard refused to signed my Legends Lock Room photo. He was polite about it but said the Blackhawks own that photo and will be selling signed copies in a few months. I literally pulled out my wallet and asked him what charity and how much because he was the last person I needed on the photo. He said it wasn't about the money but the rules of the Hawks. I told him I would wait until they sold out I guess. He laughed and said ok, but I would be waiting for a long time. I can't be upset because I knew that might happen and he was very polite about it. It just stinks I have a photo I can't finish now!

Charles "Peanut" Tillman was signing autographs today. It was listed as a $5 donation to his charity. However upon arriving it was explained there was no charge but there was a limit of 1 per person. Can't complain but I was more willing to make the donation a few times and get multiple items. But anyway I got the main thing I wanted which was the 16x20.

Man o man tons of updates.

yesterday was a Devin Hester charity signing. Picked up a 16x20 canvas and I think it turned out great. My buddy was at the Blackhawks Convention and manged to get me 10 autographs on an 11x14 of the Hawks logo. I will upload that during the week.

Today was Tyrone Keys from the '85 Bears and then Milt Pappas, Steve Trout, and Bob Dernier were signing. I went to one, my buddy went to another. He got me 2-3 of each of the Cubs players including a GREAT inscription on a mini bat. Once those are dropped off I will take pics of them. Be warned, the inscription isn't the most family friendly.

Time for a Cubs update! Anthony Rizzo was signing at the Field of Dreams store at the local mall. Flat price any item but limited tickets sold for jerseys and bats. I couldnt get my hands on a jersey in time so I went with the bat. I wanted an inscription but couldnt think of one so I opted for the full name autograph.
