Saturday 25 May 2013: Two Ebay package day one a "redelivery" of package attempted to deliver on Monday. I sort of expected to get a knock on my apartment door as I was waiting during the morning and early afternoon for the redelivery of the package, fading between napping and listening intently for a knock on my front door that never came. I checked my mailbox in the late afternoon after a time I was fairly sure the mail person would have been around. yep sure enough the package was in my mailbox. It was one of those medium sized envelopes that as about magazine size. I wasn't sure if it would be that sized or a small box. Guess on Monday I had too much mail for them to cram it into the box Anyway the thing I was expecting:

1979 Sport Americana Baseball Card Price Guide No. 1 got it for $20 Free Shipping. It is in pretty beat up shape especially the spine but still has all the pages. It has some small pencil checkmarks though out but the are tiny, some cards have 2 or 3 tiny checkmarks by them I guess to indicate duplicates.

The other package was a single card a color variation of one I already have. Note: For the holiday (Memorial Day on Monday) I got off work early Friday afternoon and I had barely enough time to get home grab the claim ticket (from a package they attempted to deliver on Monday) and get to the Post Office just as they were in the process of closing. They had the main line roped off, but the side door for pickups which is slightly away from that area I went to and knocked to see if there was anyone about although it was "technically" closed or closing. One of the employees who was shutting down stuff in the main area after he was through shutting those things came over to help me. Long story short they couldn't find my item so he wrote down some phone numbers for me to call about trying to find/track down the package. Turns out on the claim form the original carrier wrote down a wrong address (put an 8 instead of a 3 in one place) I noticed this of course afterwards but while I was talking to the distribution warehouse on the phone. I requested to have them deliver it on the next day Saturday.

On Tuesday 21 May 2013 I got two cards from sport lots:
one dealer two cards shipping was $2.00
