Hello TCC! I am a new member of these forums and relatively new to the Group Breaking community. I have a Twitter, @Autobreaks, and I'm looking to further my knowledge in the area. If you have any tips on how to get my name out there or how to sell spots for my breaks that would help tremendously. Another question: should I create a blog/ website? Thanks, AutoTJ.

Some people sell spots on ebay. I think selling spot takes building up trust or having a good reputation on a site like ebay or another card site. I personally would not buy spots in a break from someone I have not dealt with or don't know through another connection like a trading card site, ebay, or dealing with them at shows.

What he said ^^^

You have to somehow build a reputation for yourself whether that be through buying/selling, trading, etc. Make some friends and regular trading partners in the hobby, and you might be able to get going somewhere.

A website/blog couldn't hurt.

Go through some of the long standing group break threads on this site. Watch the videos and take note of what they show and how they show it. Note the good large pictures and clear videos. You can also watch any of the many ebay breaks, the youtube sites are usually mentioned in the auction details. Personally, I look for good organization/communication and video that is ALWAYS focused on the boxes (from beginning to end). I think these guys do it really well:

But, yeah, it just takes awhile to build up enough trust.
