QUOTE(snowblink @ Mar 20 2009, 09:07 PM)
As I have found now on more that one occasion, DC status will say delivered even when it was to the wrong address.

Yep. My neighbor got one of my bubble mailers the other day. He was good enough to bring it to me, but the DC showed as delivered.

Its useless...........but you have to use it because it's become expected in the hobby. I use it on pretty much everything. Not because I want to, but because I feel like I have to.

I've found it best to just deal with trustworthy people and your worries become a lot less.

I think you folks do a fine job. As far as what I expect? Gosh, I expect nothing really. This is a free forum with some good people. I'm good to go with that.

I work with volunteers regularly and we're always careful to thank them and not burn them out. The good ones usually get burnt out the fastest unfortunately because they work the hardest. My guess is that the same can be said here.

Chins up and keep pushing forward. You do plenty IMO. Your service is not overlooked, and it's most appreciated.

I was one of the few number voters. As I collect mainly racing cards, getting a card numbered the same as the racecar is a big, big deal.

Quite well and winning races are two different things.  Ask my favorite driver Jeff Gordon.

Ha!...you're preaching to the choir boss. As a Kurt Busch fan, it seems that I'm finally going to get some relief this year after three of horrible results.

I've gotten packages like that before too! A PO employee tells me that tire mark is where the envelope falls out of a bin and is run over by a hand truck wink.gif Usually not heavy enough to do any harm.

Nice thread. I like reading about what's going on in other parts of the country. We don't have many shows around here any more. When we do, a lot the inventory is junk with only a few quality dealers. We have one gentleman who gives free grab bags to kids. Always has a gu card in each one. That's what it's all about. I always spend some money with him. We also tend to have a table or two of NASCAR dealers too which is nice.

My biggest pet peeve is is also unpriced items. I also tend to do more business with dealers who are set up to accept credit cards.

"Weeks" is a pretty good descriptor, lol. I tried using it to track my Dale Murphy and Kurt Busch collections. Took a long time to get them all in and then I accidentally deleted them.....still not sure how I did that. I gave up. Maybe one day they'll make it more user friendly and I'll go back.
