Looks like a neat program, as long as your item is certified by PSA or JSA.

If you're the first one to send in a certain personality, they will make it a 1/1 masterpiece version for you.

A guy on Blowout spent $60 total to get a Yogi Berra 1/1 Masterpiece.

Very cool!!! And not a bad value IMO. You could bust a box and get Jo Shmo for $100, or have your own item made for about the same price??? About $60 for making the card, and then whatever you spent on the item going in it. I am digging the idea!!

I am split on this. It is neat, but here is another item to undermine the value of a true 1/1 piece. Is that really a 1/1? How many photos did Yogi sign that just aren't cut up and put into a card???? I do like the concept for someone who has a personalized signature photo (that isn't made out to them) or on an item like an index card where this improves the collectability, but still not sold on the idea.

as a mere shell of its former self and worth.

This would be a great idea for players that never had a autographed card of them made!


If it is a big hit im sure they would do a dual sided card and maybe some other ideas with it. I see big potential with this idea. I'm sure someone has a Ruth or Cobb auto on the way.


It would also be great if say you have a auto photo but the photo is ripped like half way down or has a big stain that ruins the pic etc!

Kinda takes the fun out of collecting doesnt it, seeing you can make your own 1/1 cards and flood the market with them rendering the true 1/1 cards into a downward spiral to the lower end of the worth scale. Just a waste of both money and historic memorbilia isnt it???

Plus it opens up the door for the fakes , thier add should be "Send us your fakes and we will make them 1/1 originals ....ebay approved LOL.....MISTY

I was trying to, for one. None of the authentication companies they use will do it though. Has to be some sort of famous personality. I even tried their in-person authentication at a few shows to no avail.
