LADIES N GENTLEMEN YOU ARE ABOUT TO EMBARK ON A JOURNEY. PLEASE FASTEN THOSE SEAT BELTS AND PREPARE YOURSELF FOR QUITE A ROLLER COASTER RIDE OF EMOTIONS.

First off I have been a collector for many years and finally decided what can i do for a vintage set. I went back and forth, up and down, right to left to figure out where to go. Discussed it with friends and family on What sport, What year, What brand. It was a very difficult decision but it came down to 2 sets the 1933 Sports Kings set or the 1911 T-205 Gold Border Set. Well I picked the 1911 T-205 Set. I want to bring you guys along with me on this lost journey and chase to do this set. I have decided to have all cards authenticated/graded by PSA as well so condition as of right now is my last concern. I want to complete the set and then move forward on upgrading the set as I move forward. So this is one of those sets that will be difficult but fun at the same time. So lets get this going.Please feel free to leave comments.

First card I got for my set was this below. It being one of the tougher cards in the set to get i was excited to be able to get it when I could.



The next card even though its beat up and looks like hell I have the card and thats all that matters.

These next bunch are just some of the smaller name guys but have a nice one incoming for my set shortly.

yea should be fun its a very tough set to do guys so this hread will be running for a while.

Ihave a show coming up in November that is 75% vintage and like 35% of it is pre-war cards so im saving a ton of money to bring with me to that show and what not.

maybe that pile of 30 opr so I had stolen will show up !

look for a george wiltsie (i think thats the name) and a hal chase somebody has together! both have the top line of bio lined out

some stole cards at a show. Thats plain up wrong and disrespectful.

So today i now own the Christy Mathewson T-205 Polar Bear back which happens to one of the more rare cards to get in the set. In pretty rough shape but still nice piece to add to the collection.

Nice set to chase Hope you get it completed

i do as well just going to take sometime, who my kiddin this will take a while to do

Nice stuff so far. Just one thing that top card in post three has an errie resemblance to Gary Bettman (NHL Commissioner). That is scary, if that was my card I would have had them destroy it.

yes it does lol now that u say that. I scored 5 more towards my set today in the mail. I will post up photos hopefully later. Im puttin a small dent into the set so far. I just love opening up the box and seein these cards.

at this rate it may not take as long as you think! You are knocking them out pretty quick! Congrats on the updates!

Finally uploaded these other few i just got in. I am going to slow down a bit because getting some of these guys graded by psa is going to cost me a few bucks. So here are a few i scored this past week.
