SO I am looking for some advice on this. This auction has been calling me for some time.

great seller and great card dealt with him many many times

but..

Is there other numbered variations of this card to 9 or 50? deflating the overall value from a collectors standpoint?

Will you go for the tri-nopoly and look for the last of the three cornering the market?

Agreed. I would be chasing other stuff not already in my inventory first before getting a dupe unless I new I would be assisting someone else's need.

Only other version I have seen is /36, and I would absolutely TRY to find the last one. But to date I have never seen it. I pack pulled mine a few years ago and That one has been on there for at least a year. Noone will bite for that price. I asked if he would take less and he said "no"

is it worth the price? absolutely not. it is artificially inflated due to perceived scarcity (like UD 'cuts') and will never hold its real value. Spend your money elsewhere on things that you do not need to question whether you want them or not and let this go

Collecting HOF autos, Negro League Autos, Roy Seivers signed cards and other interesting items.

Thanks for the input. back when I was thinking about selling mine, I was putting about a 200 price in my mind. I am kinda thinking the same as you. Too expensive..
