went and grabbed a 300 count box...anyone need basketball inserts from the 90s? Full of them...big names seem to be pulled, went and pulled a couple to complete Fleer 93-94 Ultra First Year Phenoms from the player cases i had seen..mm...

It ended up being pretty decent..mostly $2-3 BV inserts and parallels...

WOW, for $150 you got a ton of cards!!

I did...and I am maybe....20% of the way through them...there are still 2 3200 count boxes that are sorted by names...I think there are another 50 or so Barry sanders for example in those.

Usually I have to go through them a few times to weed all the good cards...tonight for example, I found one of the vintage football cards was a little nicer than I though...unmarked checklist from 1969 with BV $20. Probably one of the vintage cards in the best shape that I have found.

alright..last post for the night...

The reason it takes me 3 times through to get a good handle on everything is parallels that I don't know about...

95-96 Metal is giving me fits tonight...I found about 20 Rookie Roll Call cards only because I turned one over for a card # and saw it started with an R. now..I have two Alonzo Mournings pulled just to go into the player case...have gone through hundreds of these cards...but now I notice some of them have gold lettering and I see a parallel called Silver Spotlight, but I am guessing those are going to be the gold ones...if anyone can give me an idea of whether I am right, i would appreciate it. How many of these have I missed? Seems they have about a 10X multiplier....

This from a shoebox in which I have found about half the cards are superstars or parallels again...

Don't get me wrong though...not complaining...except for those WNBA cards???

tonight I thought I would work on some oversized items...

start with 98-99 Skybox mini posters..47 of them including 5 David Robinsons, 4 Gary paytons, 2 Kobes and many more...saw some sell on the bay for $4 each

been working alot of the boxes and folders the last few nights of cards that I knew were going to still be pretty much junk...still surprised when I come across handfulls of star cards and minor inserts...

but thought I would check out a few more of the nicer cards tonight...

Thought this was over, didn't ya? No...I am still working this lot pretty hard about every night. Mostly pulling low end RCs and inserts, BV $1-4 for the most part, still plenty of cards to go to the website...I think I am closing in on another 350 cards on top of the 250 I already set...and those are all pretty much cards at BV $2 or higher, I don't want to list much for under .75.

I still find some occasional good cards...tonight I found a Topps Pan for Gold Pippen BV $10.

I have gotten lots of the 98-99 and 99-00 RCs...

What an insane lot. I wonder when checkoutmycards first started how they could exactly distinguish all of their cards from older sets (or all of the sets that are out there) Like that card that you said might be 10 times book value? Wouldnt the people at checkoutmycards easily miss that too? Do the people sorting these have some sort of system when you send them a huge number of cards?

They do make mistakes, i have found them in my lots and other peoples. But they do do a very good job. I believe they have access to Beckett's database as well so they should have a pretty good checklist of cards to choose from and compare against...

I bet you thought I was all done..didn't you. Nope. though I am getting close. I have gone through one of the 3200 count boxes in the last day...I will be posting quantites of players later...stll find an occasional nice card.

it's funny going through this box and seeing all the NFL flashes..RCs of Dilfer, Shuler, Barry Foster, etc...marked at $1 or $2 now gong into my commons boxes or quarter books...

Zero mantle cards...this lot did not contain many baseball cards..there is a lot on Craigslist though...
