I know this is a larger break and is expensive but it should be a lot of fun! Last months members have finished confirming so now need to fill the last spots Find the teams below that are open for new or current members to add/switch. Need 18 initial full price spot members to do the break. Feel free to get on the waiting list as well in case a team you want opens up.

NY's April Mega Upper Deck SP Authentic Case Break!: OK guys, based on ideas from a few of you guys and some feedback from others, we are going to try to pull off a Mega Upper Deck SP Authentic Break this month. This should be an amazing break. Product is full of great RC Patch autos and great veteran/hof type autos as well. Will be a bit more than usual for the month, but hopefully it won't drive any of you normal members out by doing this, but seemed like most of the group is in favor. Here is the lineup:

One Case of 2008 Upper Deck SP Authentic Football (12 Boxes)

CONTENT HIGHLIGHTS
* One (1) Autographed Memorabilia card in EVERY box, on average! - Including an unprecedented eight (8) Rookie Autographed Patch Cards in EVERY case, on average!
* Two (2) additional Autographs in EVERY Box, on average! - Look for Multi-signed cards falling two (2) per case, on average
* Look for 1-of-1 Autographed Rookie Logo Patches!
* All autographs are signed on the card!
One Case of 2007 Upper Deck SP Authentic Football (12 Boxes):

Team Selection: Please read carefully. Borrowing some methods from Chris (crpalmi), the initial signup cost is $160 to claim a team. We will need to fill 18 initial teams. We will then have a paid-draft system to allow anyone with a fully paid slot have the opportunity to get additional team(s) for a discounted cost (starting at $50 for the rest of the teams with some room to go lower for the last 4 teams). This system will help defer some of the cost of the three cases so your starting team’s fee is more affordable for those who are only interested in your selected team. (I know it's still a lot but hopefully will be worth it for a lot of us) This is an optional draft so you can decide when it's your turn to select an open team (and pay the fee) or simply pass. The draft order will be determined by random.org which will be performed live on USTREAM.tv.

Break Cost: The fees collected will cover the cases, all paypal fees, supplies and shipping. If by chance we collect more than it costs from my initial estimate, they would go right back into additional product for the break or refunds to members. All boxes will be purchases from BLOWOUTCARDS.COM, DACardworld, Atlantasportscards, Cards Infinity, or any other reputable dealer depending on who can offer the best pricing.

The Break: Will occur live on USTREAM.TV at a later determined date, hopefully by the end of April. Pics of all hits will also be posted in the thread following the break. Here is the link to my last few month's break and January's three case Leaf Limited break if you are curious:

Payment: Only paypal will be accepted and is due when break fills (for new members) prior to the random unless other arrangements are made with me. For all returning members, payment due on completion of the draft. Hope to have filled and start accepting payments in around two-three weeks.

Shipping: All cards will be shipping with top loaders, soft sleeves, team bags, etc. as you can expect from any decent break and will be shipped with delivery confirmation. I will not be shipping base cards this month unless otherwise arranged since there will be a ton. I really don't need them so if you want them for your team just send money for extra shipping, or I can put sets together and those who want a set can send additional paypal for shipping the set.

Cards with multiple Teams: All cards will be given to the holder of the team shown on the card. Any with multiple teams on the cards will be randomized via random.org live on USTREAM.TV. Any retired stars that played for multiple teams and they are featured in there college uniform on the card will go to the team that they made there first start for. (Don't think there are any cards like this in this product, but just in case)

Now that that is out of the way……let's get spots confirmed and new members to join up. I am going to go ahead and grab the Broncos too this month hoping for a Cutler from 06 to help fill this....was hoping he would get traded to the Jets but oh well...Denver was dumb to screw that situation up as I think he still has a ton of potential. I have just about all the SPA I need from 2006 and 2007 and I really only need the Fortes in 2008.. so I dont know if it would be worth it for me to get in this one.

No problem Tim. Just let me know by the end of the day tommorrow. I wouldn't want you feel like you had to keep them this month just so you could retain them if something else could be worked out. I'll shoot Blitz a PM to see if he would be game as I know he would want them for the long run but possibly would be happy just to have them for this month.

If anyone wants, I have an excel sheet with the combined checklists of SPA for 2006, 2007, and 2008. A count of total possible cards with a team on it and total possible hits with a team on it. It's not 100% accurate, but can help you generate a lot of "I can get this card!"
