Okay.
So we have a couple of issues here.
First, I misunderstood what WestCoastSkinsFan meant for Tiebreaker 3. What he meant was if anyone had /both/ a owned and drafted team. If no one did, then random. However, there /was/ a person with both an owned and drafted team -- Westcoastskinsfan himself.
Because of my confusion, and because both he and I are involved in the tiebreakers here, we want to put this up to a vote for here and future:
How should we handle cards which have made it through the 2nd tiebreaker -- and are still tied, like the 8-way?
Also, how should we handle the 8-way? I'm withholding my vote for the meantime because if I have to re-random the points card, I'm in for it -- so I have a dog in the fight. That said, I lean towards keeping it the way I posted, because that's how I understood him at first.
Up to you 14, though -- vote away!

I'm going to abstain from actually casting a vote here, but I think we need to establish a more clear rule for multi-player cards. Granted, this was a bit of an extreme example, but we should still have clarity in advance of breaks.
Here's what I'm thinking...
Tiebreaker #1: Owned team wins. If a multi-player card only has one player from an "owned" team versus a draft team, it goes to the owned team.
Tiebreaker #2: Once we're down to owned teams only, the team with the least owned hits. So for example, if we have a dual GU with the Vikings and Patriots (both owned teams) whoever got the least hits for their respective team gets the dual.
Tiebreaker #3: If a card has more than 2 players, if someone has more "owned" players than anyone else, they get the card. If multiple people have the same number of "owned" players, but one also has a drafted player, the person who has the highest number of drafted players gets the card.
Tiebreaker #4: If the above doesn't break the tie, most number of TOTAL hits (autos, GU) passes on the card, and the person with the least gets it.
Tiebreaker #5: If there is still a tie, go to randoms for all people still involved.
A little complex, granted. But I think it's the most fair.
That being said, because we don't have a set rule for THIS month and so many people are involved, I think a random (to all those still tied) would be the most fair since we didn't have a set rule in place before the break.

Just FYI, I'm not going to be able to break for April either. I could use a hand for this coming month again, but I should be back on board for May.
And I don't think I've actually let you guys know what's going on yet! Starting in just a few days, I'll be WestCoastSkinsFan in name only. More appropriately, I'll be CentralTexasSkinsFan. I was recently promoted, and I'll be moving to San Antonio, TX. I'm in the process of buying a home and getting everything and everyone moved halfway across the country.
So, just know that I'm MIA for a reason, and I DO plan on being back in full force shortly.

QUOTE(fieldlevelview @ Mar 31 2015, 07:46 PM) If no one else replies, I'll do April as well unless people can make uStream work better for them! On that note -- I still need to send out packages. I'm hoping to have everything out the door this coming weekend -- I've been sick the past wee, and still have a cough that keeps stealing my voice, yay. Working on envelopes right now. Let me know if you guys do or don't want base.
