Hey guys! I will send out a PM about this as well. I am speaking with Balenac Sports as I post this thread. I'm disappointed to report that 2008 Score Select was pushed back from 8/20 to 8/27. Meaning...we will NOT be busting Select this Saturday like planned. As long as Absolute isn't pushed back, we should have both Absolute and Select on the 27th or 28th.

Sorry for the confusion guys, but you can view the pushed back release date on www.donruss.com. Not much I can do about DLP pushing back release dates

BOOOOO to DLP! This is correct Absolute has been pushed back to Sept 3rd! Looks like the Surprise break might take place before this one! Sorry to all who are involved in this break. I hope DLP has something great in store for these products since they've both been pushed back a week.

Absolute should be in this coming week!!! I'm not sure if it will be the 3rd or 4th because of Labor Day!!! But you can't really complain about a sponsor that gets usually gets us the boxes ON the release date, instead of just shipping on the release date

Hey guys! Absolute is supposed to release tomorrow, and I usually get pre orders ON the release dates from Balenac Sports. Since Monday was Labor Day though I'm not sure if they will be here tomorrow or not!

If so, we'll bust Absolute and Select tomorrow evening @ 7:10pm Central!

yes...because major distributors who get the cards before the street date like to bust a few and make max $$ on one day ebay listings BEFORE the general public can get the product. The release date is TOMORROW (9/3).

Hey guys, Absolute won't be in until Friday. So I figured, lets just go ahead and bust the 2 boxes of Select tonight to help hold us over. We'll do the live break tonight on ustream @ 7:10pm Central Time. Below, you will find my conversation with Balenac Sports about why Absolute won't be until Friday. There is bad news about that though, Friday afternoon I will be heading out to Knoxville, TN for the weekend to work on some more studio tracking sessions. It may be possible for me to bring the boxes with me to my hotel room in Knoxville and bust them after the sessions are over for the evening...but I honestly have no idea when that might be.

BalenacSports: Hey, sorry, yes, extremely busy this morning.  Your order was placed last night, the playoff absolute boxes arrived late in the afternoon, so there was no chance of shipping all boxes back out.
