Obviously I am rooting for the Colts to lose, but I think they have a better chance to win

Posted by: Kmart6nets Jan 25 2010, 09:21 AM

I'm thinking Colts but wouldn't mind seeing either team win... two very likeable teams for once!

Posted by: aceecards Jan 25 2010, 10:14 AM

If i was a betting man my money would rest on Peyton Mannings arm

Posted by: cardcrazed Jan 25 2010, 02:21 PM

Take a guess who I voted for!

Saints!!! I think it would be a great story for this team to win it.

Posted by: WHyFLy Jan 26 2010, 08:18 AM

Indy!!!! It is going to be a good game, but without the Saints being at home, then they are going to have a miserable time against Addai and Brown. As well as Peyton Manning and his recievers.

Posted by: 19th Century Indiana Jones Jan 26 2010, 08:43 AM

I hate the Colts. And that's why they are probably going to win it.

Posted by: cardinal Jan 26 2010, 04:38 PM

If the Saints play even remotely close to the way they did in the NFC Championship...they'll get beat by 20+.

Posted by: 28Vikings28ALLDAY Jan 26 2010, 06:10 PM

Colts will win this game.

Posted by: Snick103 Jan 28 2010, 10:59 PM

umm COLTS for sure no questions asked

Posted by: cbluem Feb 3 2010, 04:18 PM

With Freeney not 100% The Saints are gonna win by 13.

The Saints are the number 1 Offense. They had some bad series against the Vikes and still put up 31 points. Brees will put himself in the Elite category with his performance this week. Manning is the most intelligent QB to EVER play the game. That being said he has had quite a few down games. The real problem for the Colts is gonna be the run game. Though Manning will have his share of yards, we already proved that you need more than that. Who Dat Nation rise up.

A bad game for Manning is 250 yards and 2 TD's wink.gif He's been amazing this year, on a serious note.

I must say 'Who Dat' is on par with one of the dumbest sayings in all of sports...at least its somewhat original (yes Ickey Woods I'm calling you out).

I'm fine with either team winning, though I'm saying the Colts by 10 points.

Posted by: cbluem Feb 5 2010, 02:19 AM

Yes a down game for Manning is better than many other QB's best. I said down game, not bad game. Yes he was the MVP. He has lost quite a few big games in the post-season. Since Brees has come to the Saints, he has more yards than Manning and the same amount of TD'. Manning had Wayne and Harrison for three of those four years. Manning made some great things happen with nobody this year. I think Brees has been doing that his whole career. Don't get me wrong, I believe that P Manning is the most intelligent, complete player to ever man the position. Montana is a close second, but no one can command his team and change the play to fit the defense like him. But to say that he can't have a down game is crazy.

Manning playoff record including this season (9-8)
(4-0 when they won) (2-0 this year) subtract these two years and he's 3-8

I know Brees' numbers don't match up for playoffs just going off the point that with their dismal running game, if Manning comes up with less 325 yds, they are gonna lose.

Who Dat is a saying going back to the 1800's. We are proud of our heritage in Louisiana.

I do realize this is the Super Bowl and I am fully aware that the Colts are a much better team, and unlike the Saints, actually deserved the win they got in their conference championship game.

its the first bad team that came to mind hhaa

Posted by: cbluem Feb 6 2010, 11:40 PM

Yes, Peyton Manning had 7 4th quarter comebacks. A new record. My question is, why did he have to come back in so many games? Manning is without question the best QB to ever play. But, he still missed out on a lot of scoring opportunities because of a weaker running game. Even though Manning won the MVP in the previous super bowl he was in, I think everyone knows that Dominick Rhodes deserved the award for the way he handled the ball. The only real weakness of the Saints defense is giving up big running plays. Donald Brown could break one if given enough chances, but the Colts won't let him. Our secondary has been great this year when everyone is healthy. I do believe they will make Manning work way harder than the "experts" think. The real game decider will be on the ground for Indy. If they can muster up 125 total rushing yards, then they will win. If the Saints hold them to under 100, then they will win. In-between will make it a toss-up.

Crap, I misread my info...

In the 1970's Souther University started 'Who Dat?' (Near New Orleans, at least somewhat close in proximity).

in 1981, Ickey Woods started 'who dey'

in 1983, the Saints started using 'who dat'

so technically, both the Saints and Bengals ripped it off a college!

Posted by: Hallsgator Feb 7 2010, 06:07 PM

I wish they could skip the game and get right to The Who!

Posted by: cbluem Feb 7 2010, 09:46 PM

I do bellieve I called it a 13 point Saints win. 1 off. WHO DAT
