Still looking for a lot more check ins. Also throw out some ideas of boxes you are interested in opening. A few new releases recently 16-17 MVP, 15-16 Portraits, 15-16 Ultimate (out of our price range?), any others?

QUOTE(geschrocks33 @ Sep 8 2016, 07:47 AM) I'm in with Buffalo, also send a PM to Mike, I think he wanted in this month with Toronto Ultimate is out of our price range, unless we want to open just a box of Ultimate for the month. Lol. Portfoilio (I think that's what you meant by Portraits) isn't worth the price if you ask me but if members are interested let me know. If work is slow today I'll get up some groupings. If possible, anyone toss out products they would or would not be interested in. I will pm Mike, thinking he is looking for 16-17 products for #1 pick, etc. Portfolio is it, did not see any of it broke, just knew it came out.

QUOTE(geschrocks33 @ Sep 8 2016, 11:26 AM) Portfolio is $80 - 2 hits (1 Auto, 1 jersey) in a box. 16-17 MVP is $40, but you don't get any guaranteed "hits" per say The new MVP is that cheap already???? Wow, isn't last year's around that price too? Nevermind, I get it now, they reduced the box by 4 packs so that is part of why it is cheaper.

Fine with MVP, but not thrilled about it. For a group break, I'd rather break higher end stuff that's harder for me to afford on my own. Even if MVP is just $40. I guess I wouldn't mind getting the Mantha out of there, but it's not hard for me to come by MVP stuff on my own. Most MVP cards sell for like $1-2.
For other products can we look at some 13-14 stuff? That was a good rookie crop for a lot of teams, and the products are really marked down. For example, 13-14 Ultimate is only $56, $15 more than MVP, and will yield four hits with potential for shields and other crazy stuff. Bajmurray will probably get the shield. I know the hits aren't always the most consistent in that product, but for the price it might be nice?
Also there's 13-14 Rookie Anthology, which has some nice stuff, Artifacts is marked down to $57. Just some thoughts. I like opening new stuff to get a chance at Larkin, but maybe would be nice to change up and open up two boxes of some older stuff for the price of 1 new box so more people have a shot at nice hits. Just a thought!

Zach, I completely agree on the 13-14 stuff and it's value. Although Ultimate has 4 cards, by our standards really only 2 are hits, 13-14 Ultimate 99% of the time goes Base /499, Rookie /499, then two hits. I wouldn't mind trying that, gives us a chance for a home run.
I know it's Leaf stuff and we can't get rookies in it, but a lot of the newer Leaf products have like 8-10 hits for around $100, so might be worth a shot if we use MVP to try and increase the hit count. I'll come up with some options today
