QUOTE(aceecards @ Apr 13 2012, 09:57 AM) BTW.. I wont even bother taking pictures of my drop in the bucket assemblage.. Lew can have his three points and then pay the piper for my next category! I had little doubt that your third choice of category would be any different than your first two. Let me guess......"HOF auto collection"?

Maybe this will explain my initial reaction and my dilemma. I was much better organized with most every thing in binders till about 20-15 years ago. For this particular category back then I would have said Johnny Bench with 15-20 (2 or 3 cards duplicated and one card triplicated). Over the years especially recent years of online purchases/forum trades/buys coupled with the current manufacturers trend of producing dozens of sets with each player easily having a dozen or two different cards each year other players have passed that small sum. Unfortunately for me my collection is in a disastrous mess Football especially (which for the most part is unorganized and in many boxes of various sizes some not designed for cards). I have 4 or 5 binders organized by year/set/number. I suspect either Clinton Portis, Steven Jackson, Tory Holt or most likely Marshall Faulk would end up being the winner. For baseball I am currently in the process of getting my junk organized. I have the 50s-80s sorted. Now I'm working on the impossible 90s-current while also trying to filter in recent acquisitions to the organized section. To help in this matter I pulled the organized by player name 7 binders ("A"s-"M"s or possibly it was to the "R"s?) the other letters were in a 3,000ct? box and then there was a ton of unsorted cards in various sized boxes. I now have sorted them all by decades (as best as I could for 90s-current due to 1,000s of design styles for just one bloody set each year and the hard to read junk). The 50s-70s are in one monster 5,000ct box, the 80s in another, the 2000s to 2010s another and my retro types (Modern A&G, Goudey, Goodwin, Heritage) from about 2005+up are in the 4th 5,000 ct box. The 1990s are in a smaller 3,000ct? box. Exceptions are 5 600ct? boxes that contain 1990s/early 2000s Expos only sorted by player, plus another box like that with 2005-07 Nationals organized by player w/Nick Johnson having the most at about 20 in that box. A few years back (06 or 07) I had bought a huge 2,000ct lot of Expos cards from Ebay I forget the cost it was one of those flat rate boxes (12" x 12" x 5 1/2") with all the cards haphazardly tossed into the box filled it literally. Took me 3 or 4 days to sort them then organize them by player. It was of course cherry picked so most of the guys I had never heard of and still don't know who they are. Most every card was at least doubled, some tripled or quadrupled, the biggest amount of one individual card I think was 15. Recently I sent a blogger about 50 Vladimir Guerrero cards many of which came from that batch but not all of them. All individual no duplicates. I didn't send all my Vlads most of what I sent were duplicates for me, but I digress. I think ether Ryan Zimmerman or Nick Johnson have the lead in number of cards for baseball. Basketball I only have one small binder with 50maybe 90% bullets. 4 or 5 Evin Hayes takes that. Hockey I have 2 binders plus several stacks from the last 5 or 6 years for a total of maybe 300 cards? No Idea who is the most Alex Ovechkin maybe? 2 dozen maybe? Heck with it I won't even bother with this category. I isn't worth the dagnabbit efforty I hope the next category I can at least attempt to submit something for.

QUOTE(beanschat @ Apr 13 2012, 11:09 AM) Nice last couple of rounds!! On the father son combo..it was another TOUGH call...thought Steves combo of autos was going to be tough to beat...but Lew matched the autos well, the only thing missing was a Peyton auto...but I REALLY, REALLY liked that SPX RC...I called that round a draw as well... My entry isn't missing a Peyton auto...that Gold Monikers /18 is signed!

What would the audience really wanna see
I mean its been an incredible show..
Blood, gore guts, chair shots, ladder bombs, pole crashing, REFS cheating, foreign objects introduced, eye gouging, back biting, cat scratching, fever blister popping..
Ok maybe that last one is too descriptive

OK I got it..
Show us Cards of all members of any single HOF class (minimum of 2 elected)
So that is ANY Sport, Any induction year and Any type of card (auto, GU, RC, Base or mixed) of all the players inducted for that year.
For example
1936 baseball HOF class
You need to show cards of Mathewson Cobb Ruth Wagner Johnson
Judging is to be based on the BEST Overall Class submitted and the cards that are exhibited!
lets get it on!
