Last  and here it is .. .. What do you think? Between those dots was close to one million cards that left the building Friday 8/23/19. I now have what is between those dots..

Now how do I feel??
The thought of selling has been bothering me for years now. What if I died suddenly and stuck my wife or girls with this massive assemblage . They know little to nothing abut sports let alone Rookie cards etc..
Reed from dave and Adams was on a cross country buying trip, I invited him in early June, he came reviewed and planned on coming back after the nationals. He came back 8/23, i had a price in mind and he spent all day evaluating my vast collection, In the end , I settled for a much softer number than I intended but I still rolled. Its not often you can sell something of this size lock stock and barrell , but it happened.
I helped Reed load it all (there is a video on facebook reed made Friday) and away it went.
I am relieved. I no longer have any anxiety over a hobby that grew insurmountable. I may miss it from time to time but onwards and upwards!
So my bucket is gone as is 4,000 lbs of cardboard and plastic!

and an update Its still all gone! but... Ive been cleaning the basement on weekends with little or nothing else to do and.. in the safe I found a little old Vault box that I was sure was empty...I had to actually locate the key to open it. Its fireproof so it was heavy empty or not.. Well it wasnt empty at all...  and while sorting thru memory tubs (that is what we refer to them as) I found a tub within a tub.. and in it.. A treasure trove of schtuff well too me anyway. One of the highlights was a Mantle auto I got in person in the late 1970's at a show in St louis. I had long forgotten about a lot of this stuff but was tickled pink to actually have some things to admire and maybe have a future show and tell..
