A little more info obtained late yesterday afternoon.
Dont give up on those redemptions/Replacements just yet.
It is my friend, the distributors, understanding that the remaining Fleer staff is rapidly trying to fulfill outstanding redemptions from whatever inventory they might have left. Same goes for replacements.
Understand you may not get what you are supposed to but you will probably get something maybe even unopened packs/boxes. There apparently is no thought process as to equal value going on though.
I have also heard rumors of a class-action lawsuit being gathered by shop owners stuck with cases of product filled with redemptions like Fleer swweet Sigs baseball and Football. Maybe we should all contact are shop owners and add ourselves to the list.
Fleer Company is still operating just that the trading card people are gone. there are 6 products packaged and ready to be distributed at their warehouse or their printers warehouse. Fleer Ultra FB, Fleer Showcase FB, Skybox Baseball, Premium Baseball, Patchworks baseball and I cant remember the other. At some point these cards will be issued or distributed he just doesnt know if it will be Fleer that is doing it.

Thanks for the new update.
One of the biggest questions in the mind of most collectors is what will happen to their redemption/replacement requests, so it's certainly something to watch for more details on.
Paul Angilly's article this week provides a good summary of what we know about Fleer's status and also includes a few new details as well as some background/history about Fleer.
