Peter,
I appreciate the input from the resident SuperCollector. I strive to go after the rarer issues right now as the more common ones will be around. Most of all, I ENJOY these cards. I think thats what makes it fun. Any suggestions for continuing my collection?

Very cool addition today...
The front appears to be a regular Bowman Draft Pick card...
The back though is something else...
There is a small triangle in the middle of Lyman's chest that reads NOT VALID WITHOUT STICKER. Guessing this was for an autographed version of this card. Pretty cool I think. talked to Topps and they confirmed there is a set worth of wrong back cards, but only 1 of each as it was made to check the centering on the press. Cool new 1/1 for my collection.

Total BV...I dont know but am planning to add them into MY COLLECTION on the other site to see. The problem is that i have 17 1/1's and 12 more cards that would be unlisted. If I had to guess, I have a total of 122 different cards and the estimated BV of the ones that list are around 2000.00

#4 is one that I have only seen once ungraded and once graded, both went for ridiculous amounts for what it is. Got mine for a steal.

Nice pick-ups Tom. Of course, the blue is a beauty, as are the TT and Finest. However, I only paid about $10-15 more for the PSA 10 than you did for your raw. A TCC member now owns it and has it tagged as a $100+ BV card. Wow.

Well, as some of you know, I have some pretty personal ties with the events of September 11, 2001. Not only did I lose friends there, but I was called to duty that day to help with rescue efforts. It is a day I will remember forever and connects with me every year on its anniversary. I am happy to be able to spend another day here at TCC with many of the friends I have made over the last year or 2.
So, onto my post. Wanted to save something special for today's post, and the mailman didnt let me down.
Sometimes, 1/1's just dont cut it. Today is a day where TWO 1/1's are being overshadowed by 2 White Whales.
Lets start here:
When a RC Auto /99 is the 5th Best card in your mailday, you know it was good.
Bowmans best Silver Auto /99
Next we move onto a 2nd 1/1 from a series:
Etopps National 1/1. I believe there are 4 or 5 different ones.
Bowman Draft Picks Black Plate 1/1
Now for the Stars...some Harpooned Whales for my collection.
First is a piece that I have had MANY chances at, but the prices exceeded 2x hi BV!

And the #1 Star. A piece I have only seen 1 of, but theres only 10 out there. Wasnt sure if I would ever snag one, but I cheated on TCC and went over to another site and had someone offer this to me...
