Man no kidding, the same thing happens with ManU, what a bunch of bandwagoners.

In reality we are the better club, 31 League Titles, 9 time European champions, most winning side in the UEFA Champions League, nuff said.

Actually, I would say that people that know nothing about football support Real Madrid, just because they sell lots of jerseys and have the most-paid players (not the best ones).
I appreciate Barça since lots of Argentinians have played there, and also I hate Real Madrid. Each and every single player that I like and goes to Real Madrid, disappoints hugely with their performance.

Spanish broadcasters also pointed out Howard's attitude towards his coach. It seems like there are some serious problems between both. I suppose you know more. What happened between them?

That's the kind of bad politics I talked about in the other thread. It's just stupid to try to divide people due to their beliefs and their Party election.

It's good to see an international member post his views here about the US. Whether you like it or not, most people do not like the US and if they do it's because of the aid we give them. If we want to expand (all for it) let's not take advantage of people in bad countries. In these days, you gotta tart with islands, people who want the U.S. to take them over. etc.
*

I think that USA intervenes in geopolitical places, I mean, in countries where its own country's interests are in danger. This isn't bad, after all, US isn't the world police that should go after all the bad people in this world. The problem is that USA politicians have used once and again, and again this excuse of "freedom promotors and liberty defenders" but only on the places where they had economic interests.

If US heavily supports freedom and disappoves genocide, why haven't they done a thing in Darfur and other places of Africa where they have been in war for 15-20 years?

Is that the best you can do?

Instead of refuting any of my points you reply with a white flag. That's why the conservative base is shrinking. You guys walk away with your tail between your legs whenever the truth is thrown at you.

To deny Cheney is a gazillionaire 20 times over because of the war in Iraq is just too much for you guys to admit. Face it. We went to war with a reason.............. To make money!

Money nowadays is all. Otherwise, how can you explain not doing anything in Venezuela, who is becoming a new Cuba in South America? Because they have huge oil reserves that are imported to USA. They are confiscating companies (one from an Argentinian group - Tenaris) and making everything they want. USA won't dare to do anything because you'll lose an important oil producer country as a way to get this resource.

USA is very well known for having supported dictatorships in South America and all over the Americas in an effort to stop the spread of Communism. Also, dictatorships would try to rearm heavily, and guess which country would provide the weapons? Yes, you're right..

With this, I'm not trying to demonize USA, in fact, I appreciate US people because I've had a great time during my visits there and while I lived in Puerto Rico. I know PR isn't a state, but they owe all there development to their relation with USA.

For the last freaking time: Limbaugh said he wanted Obama to fail if the definition of success meant that Obama's policies would be implemented. If people are going to criticize the guy, they should at least listen to the show so they know what they are talking about.
*

Ok, now he seems more patriotic after your clarification. What kind of people want his own country to fail just because the Party they like isn't in power? That's completely selfish and stupid. If the country goes bad, you will eventually too.

You say this now but a few posts ago, you do a pretty good job of slandering Bush and conservatives in posts 15 and 16. Making absurd statements like those are why I don't participate here much anymore. There's simply no point in trying to refute them.
*

I'm talking about stop critics just for criticizing. If you are critic towards something, say why you say so. I experienced the "anti-US" movement because it was a growing tendence here in Argentina and Latin America also. People here used to blame US for its bad situation as underdeveloped countries.

What I said about Bush is clear and can be easily tested: get 1000 people from all over the world and ask what they think about Bush. You'll get the answer. And don't start with the "biased" informators and al that stuff because you'll start a discusion that will never end.

I think that politics are really misunderstood in the current days. Politics shouldn't be a reason for division, for for union and search for consensus. If leaders themselves don't do that, common people (like us) should set up the example and teach them that debate can be carried out peacefully without doing any harm.
Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be the case.
Look, I'm not Democrat or Republican. I'm not even US citizen, but I find a great place in this forum to discuss about different aspects of society.

So Americans should call Bush to restore order, right?
Come on, USA had just abandoned (fortunately) the most horrific period as regards to international relations. People from outside your country commonly associate the figure of USA to imperialism and interfering on other countries just to get something in exchange for it.
Let Obama work and try to clean the mess that Bush and his friends have done.

It's quite typical that conservatives think they know everything about every aspect of society and the way in which they relate with the environment. From sociology, passing through economics and going to politics, conservatives have always believed that they have a "gift": to be able to understand and generalize behaviours.
Let me tell you: that's not correct.

And please, show us that common sense your talking about.

What the hell are the Lakers doing being tied 2-2 with Houston??

You should add "without TMac and Yao".. If you analyze deeply, you can't understand how Rockets managed to win the last game, in some moments of the game by almost 30 points.
