It would be nice to have a site currency used to change your name, or buy other cards from members. Or like Sprtscardfreaks they have point auctionsd for their currency.

I know other sites have currency, but if you could explain the concept of site currency in layman's terms maybe others would chime in. I, for one, do not understand the concept of "virtual money". Sorry about that. I apologize. I am a dinosaur and was brought up "a penny saved is a penny earned" era.

Yea I also see it as pointless! Like on SCF. So you sell your auto for say 1,000 card cash, then you buy a card for 1,000 card cash. And people sell there card cash for about 10cents on the dollar. So 1,000 CC=$10. So you sold a card for $10 and bought a card for $10. Now why did you need the CC system to do that? Why not make life easy on all of us and just sell your card for $10 and buy a card for $10? I for one wont be selling my cards on there for "CardCash"! Because in the end I want $$$$ not some made up thing. wink.gif So why waste my time dealing for CC then having to sell it and finally get my money, when I could just deal once and get the money then, and we all are on the same page. No this equals this and what not. I like things easy. If I think to hard my brain hurts! laugh.gif laugh.gif tongue.gif cool.gif

Also the problem of someone has to keep the real money and all that, sounds like a major headache. Pretty sure this came up before, but I couldn't find thread (but didn't have time to dig thru more than a few pages.

The example Jason gave also asks the question. If you have a card you want to sell for $10 and you find another card for $10 you want to buy. Why not just TRADE?

I do seem to recall that part of SCF system also had a giveaway gallery where each card in the gallery was valued at X Site$ and if you had enough of the site$ you "bought" the card with your site$. The big problem with that is supplying the cards. Some of them I guess were donated by people and others were sold to an admin who placed the card in the site store or whatever they call it.

It seems to be more of a headache than its worth.

ON one of those sites they have "games" that cost site$ and I used up all my site$ before I knew it because it was something like $20site$ per round of the game or something and I only had something like $50site$ at the time. So after a few minutes of playing some stupid arcade game I couldn't access the thing anymore since I was out of site$.
