To be honest, I'm really not sure what the style is.  Is there a way of knowing?

Similar to American cooking, it's broken down by region/type...like Cajun, Southwest, etc....generally a Chinese restuarant will advertise "HOng Kong style, etc" unless they are the only one in town. Then it's Americanized Chinese food to please the American taste buds.
