The Official BKB Box Break Club - December

Introduction

Last month wasn't a very good month for us as our best hit was a Brandon Roy auto. This month we will go big or go home crying as it looks like it is Exquisite month.

How it Works (Official Rules)

Each member pays $50 ($52 if paying via PayPal). That covers about $470 in boxes, shipping, and supplies. You get two teams (you cannot take a team that has already been taken) of your choice. The remaining 10 teams go to the members via a draft (last month's draft took less than 24 hours). This gives you a total of three teams. Every single card pulled out of a box that has a player from one of your three teams goes to you. The box breaks are done via a video break, so there is no question as to what was pulled.

Fees are due by the 15th. The boxes are ordered and the draft begins as soon as all fees are collected. As soon as the draft completes and the boxes are in, the video breaks are done. The cards are then shipped out by the box breaker as soon as the results have been posted. We decide as a group what boxes to break each month.

I apologize for my absence lately. I've been kind of busy. Thanks Matt for getting this thread rolling.

I do want to do Exquisite this month: however... The price for 07/08 last month was $440 at dacardworld. Currently they don't have it in stock. At blowoutcards the current price is $519. My hope is that dacardworld will get some back in stock at a decent price before we need to order. If that doesn't happen, does anyone have another reputable source we can order from?

Although there will only be five cards, I'm going to ship the hits well package and insured as needed, so shipping won't be dirt cheap. I don't mind spending an extra few dollars to cover $519 at blowout. What do you guys think about chipping an extra $3 (so total would be $55) to cover the extra cost?
