Couple more questions about the Musial.

I Know that I sent one to Stan with the address you provided to me once before. Thanks again for the address. Anyway, but i haven't gotten a response, I heard he's an avid signer, so why no luck ? It might be because of my next question, did you enclose a Donation? I sent a autograph request once to Rollie Fingers and I remember he sent back a note saying he charges for a flat item. Either way I just sent him another auto request, maybe the second time I'll do better.

Thanks for the incouragement, but I sent It sometime before christmas I think around Thanksgiving time. I'm going to try him again though, hopefully this time I will receive It.

I see that you have 2 Musials in the pic, Did you send 2 Requests or did you just get real lucky and they put 2 in your sase.

This is not MY success, but I own it. A guy on Beckett sent to Matt LaPorta, but they personalized it, "To John" (My name), instead of, "To Rob"(Beckett member's name). He was going to get the, "To John" off with Magic Eraser, but I was fortunate enough to trade for it before he did!! I will have it in hand probably tomorrow!

I told him I didn't have any of his cards so If he could return an auto It would be much apprecciated, and he sent back my letter signed, what a unigue auto it is too. Have you been to his website? Cale Iorg ??? If you collect this brand and would like another Cale Iorg, I have just the thing for you. I have a Cale Iorg Tristar Prospects Plus Farm Hands auto if you would like to trade for it. I don't really collect this brand or Cale Iorg, It's just collecting dust. Here's the pic:

1) Send to stadium in a big 6x9 non padded yellow envelope with the 1960's Braves logo printed on to get it noticed.

2) Include a sharpie so he isn't tempted to break out the stamp.

I got my first success in like a week today:

Hank Aaron, c/o Braves (fwded to his home) in 9 days. I sent him a 4x6 of his 756th HR to sign, but he signed the protective IC's I put in to protect the photo. I can't really complain, but I really wanted that photo signed.

In other news, I have officially pronounced my scanner dead. It was only 2 years old. RIP. If you are a frequent reader of this thread and like seeing scans of my sweet TTM's, I am now excepting Paypal donations for a new scanner at: Hyeley1@aol.com.

A failure ( ) to report from yesterday:

Hank Aaron, c/o Braves ST took 16 days to return my cards unsigned.

That puts me at 2/25 this ST so far, with one failure. I sent most of them out on 2-10, so hopefully I will get the other 22 in the mail today.

I went to the game Friday night at Victory field. The Indians got obliterated 15-6, but I got:

....then the somewhat depressing thing for the night. I got Scott Rolen on a Cardinals mini-helmet and I guess I stuck it back in my bag before the ink dried, because when I pulled it back out to show my mom's boyfriend, the "S" in Scott and part of the "R" in Rolen were almost completely smeared off. ::facepalm::

Overall, a pretty successful night for graphing. Then, when I got back today, I had this waiting for me in the mailbox:

To answer the address question, I pay a $14.99 annual subscription to SCN (sportscollectors.net). You can get stadium addresses without the fee, but with the fee you can get home addresses, tools to track your successes, as well as the success rate (returns/attempts) of a particular player. It is well worth it to me anyway. If you want an address from any of my past successes, send me a PM. Thanks!

Well, I am back. Here are my TTM's/IP's I have obtained sporadically the past year +. I didn't record exact dates, but the Pujols was obtained in a mob of people after a Cardinals game last June, the Vitters and Feliz from Spring Training 2010, the Vitters from Redsfest, and the Cabrera's c/o the Tigers Autograph Program with a $20 donation in roughly 5 months. I just sent out a new batch of mail for Spring Training, so hopefully I'll have some new successes coming in before too long. 8-)
