QUOTE(marcus42 @ Mar 10 2008, 10:00 PM) sadly, very few...only investors there are so many things wrong with that statement...no offense... If he doesn't set the starting bid at what he wants to sell it for it's his fault...that's what the reserve is for...and BIN or Best Offer option available... borderline shill bidding which is so morally wrong I would almost say it's close to pack searching lol i couldnt find a good way to write it but i think its kind of wrong but not if your selling expensive cards |

QUOTE(Aronp24 @ Mar 9 2008, 10:26 PM) ...My SWEET 4 color Brian Leonard Auto Rookie Patch Just closed at 24.00....24.00..... I feel like I've been hit with a brick where the sun don't shine.... that is cheaper than SP Authentic... thats a disgrace....my bulger gold patch/15 went for 1.47.....that's right 1.47 I am sick...just sick... the only card I held on to was legadu nanneeeee or w/e..sure hope he amounts to superman status.... I have NEVER been this dissapointed Box cost me 649.00 after tax....I got 84.00 back total on 5 cards...disgusting YES I KNOW...I'm in the wrong "hobby" for profit...and "you win some you lose some" but this is just awful and I wonder what it tells of the coming future of the hobby... My Mike Moustakas base Bowman chrome refactor (not numbered) sold for twice what my larry fitzgerald exquisite gold auto /20 sold for about 4 minutes apart... again I am sickened well why dont you just have one of your friends bid on it and buy it if its not at what you want to sell it for then you just keep the card people do it all the time like for example if your selling a card thats worth $80 but the highest bid is only $10 with like an hour left have a friend put a bid on it for like $40 for you dont have to give it up for $10 except you keep the card your friend just bids high on it for no else buys it for so cheap and you keep the card but your friend doesent pay for it because hes not actually buying it hes just doing it for you so you dont get screwed |

QUOTE(jaderock @ Feb 19 2008, 02:59 AM) The Big Show - Marryweather stuff was horrible (too scripted). Big show looked a baby and Merriweather bad at his delivery. His POSSE made him look like a cat! Boy what a difference one day makes. --- McMahon vs Hornswoggle....stupid...I don't think ANYONE wants to see McMahon in the ring. It was an effective way to give JBL a new fued tho. --- Scripting for Orton has been mind boggling bad...he seems like a whipped little kid...before No Way Out, Cena's promo on Orton with Orton at the announcers table was brutal...Orton may have been steaming, but it looked more like he was about to CRY. Then today Triple puts Orton in his place and Orton has NO comeback! WTG loser (that's how it looks to me at least)!!! --- Flair getting inducted into the HOF is cool...Flair not appearing after Michaels made the announcement NOT cool!!! There's a good possibility of it being Michaels vs Flair at Mania. Other possible inductees include Mae Young (get her in before she passes away...the WWE wants to limit each year to one deceased entry), Jack and Jerry Brisco and Gordon Solie, who never was part of the WWE but the WWE owns the many tape collections that Solie was part of. --- My how memories forget the past...Candice Michelle looked like a"Who's that"! They Maria/Marella saga continues... the big show/mayweather stuff was great not horrible |

QUOTE(Kmart6nets @ Feb 12 2008, 07:38 PM) I just send the card with no protection. I haven't had so much as a crease in any of the cards I've sent out. Maybe 1 or 2 dinged corners here and there, but nothing major. so you dont even put them in sleeves? LMK |

QUOTE(Kmart6nets @ Feb 12 2008, 03:39 PM) Yup, it's definitely a little weird to write these letters when you're not 13, but hey.. What other options are there? I like to point out something specific they've done in their career that I remember seeing them do. Makes it seem more personal. And make sure you thank them and let them know why you're writing (that you loved watching them play, not that you want an autograph ). Good luck. do you think you can write like a example letter and show it to me it would help out alot please LMK |

QUOTE(JasonS @ Feb 12 2008, 03:31 PM) You should send them with first class postage in an envelope. You should always send a SASE if you want a chance of the card getting back to you. These guys make make millions of dollars, but don't expect them to buy an envelope, a stamp, fill out your address, sign your card, and mail it to you for free. There is a pinned thread at the top of this forum about how to do TTM requests. It will explain it all. http://www.tradingcardcentral.com/forums/i...showtopic=54829so it will explain to me how to ship the cards? LMK |

QUOTE(jaydoublez @ Feb 10 2008, 05:09 PM) I dont know why people think a strike would do anything whatsoever to ebay. There stock would drop for one day and thats it. We are the ones that turned this company into a billion dollar company and now we want to complain when the screw us over. We left ourselves open to be screwed over. ya they will lose like 2-3 million thats it the only way it would do anything to them is if the strike lasted 2 months or more |
