TCC still seems to be affected by a virus. Whatever has been done thus far is not working. The second I enter the site I get a Norton Virus Attack Warning. I think I'm safe with Norton catching it but to be safe I'm staying away until someone informs me that the trouble has been found & eradicated.

Maybe this info can help

Details -

Risk Name - Blackhole Toolkit Website 7
Attacking Computer - 67.228.98.9, 80
Attacker URL - 67.228.98/Home/index.php
Destination Address - My ***.*.**, *****
Source Address - 67.228.98.9
Traffic Destination - TCP, www-htp

There's a lot of other info in the report but for some reason you can't copy a Norton screen. According to Norton this is a High Risk bad virus. If you don't have protection of somekind on your machine I would recommend it.

I can be reached at 2 other sites both of which have members from here, if someone could let me know when TCC is clean again I'd appreciate it.

Hope the above info helps & if TCC needs the other info from the report I'll do what I can to help.

Later guys & good luck

i get this crap too. the site has a serious problem on its hands here.

The TCC Team know's that we have virus problems with the site. Richard and other people have been trying to resolve the problems. There's only so far they can get with it, because they need information that would help them from the owner of the site. He hasn't been on the site for over a year.

Weird, I have norton as well but no virus notifications, yet

But I did have to rebuild my laptop a month or 2 ago from a virus that I could not get rid of, dunno if it was from here or not, though

There are at least 2 members of the team who actually have everything they need to be able to remove the part of the site that contains the virus. It's just a matter of them getting in there and doing it.

Rather bold statement w/o having knowledge of the problem and how it gets here or if it is part of the site. Only Admin has ability to change certain things far as I know (board software, ads etc..), and we all know he is AWOL and doesn't reply to any of the contact methods we have available. If it were something so simple as you stated it would have been done by now.

Sadly, I can no longer visit this site on my work computer. It, too, received the virus attack notice and, because of such, my workplace banned the site.

And since I work 70 hours a week, it's hard to find time to visit! Hopefully it gets resolved soon. Best of luck, all.

Nice to see you Richard. I haven't had problems, but if I did I would have to cease my visits as well.

My work place computer got hit too. I wait until I get home after 12 hour days to checkout whats going on here too.

My NoScript add-on for Firefox has been blocking a "potential cross-site scripting" for probably a year and a half now from this site. No idea what it means but it only really started when Bob stopped showing up and doing some clean-up for the site.

I'm glad I found this thread. The same thing has been happening to me for awhile now too. My Norton blocks the intrusion attempts luckily, but to be honest that gives me little comfort on the situation. My whole family uses our one computer and if it caught a virus from TCC, I would feel pretty bad. And as much as I like TCC if something like that happens you will never see me here again. Things like this along with so many things being outdated are going to kill TCC.

I use McAfee and have had something blocked on here but not sure what it was.

I hope its dealt with as i dont want to quit the site but i will if it infects my computer
