As I'm pretty sure most of us has been having problems with Photobucket and the 3rd party sharing problem that most of us collectors depend on to upload our card collections.

I figured I'd post this thread to for anyone looking for help to transfer over to Flicker or some other free photo host that someone might know of.

Tonight I deleted my Photobucket account and will begin to transfer my photos to Flicker, I heard and seen other collectors making the switch so I'd figured I would hop on the wagon.

Any input from members would be great and encouraged, Thanks!

It has been a while since I've "used" my photobucket, but I have checked it from time to time to find pics of stuff I sort of remembered having somewhere online. Now days I mostly just link to stuff on my blogger (blogspot) blog, even if I have to just upload a pic to my blogger photo album without actually being "on" my blog(s).

I have heard about people using flicker for those who have not switched all their trading card posting to Facebook or Twitter or Instagram.

A few days ago someone somewhere mentinoed imgbb. I checked it out and reminds me of Google image searches.

PB is so bad know it did us all a favor and forced us to change haha. I have been using Sports Card Album (SCA) for over a year now and like it a lot. It was made for sports cards which is nice. Imgur and Flickr are other good options.

The app is having issues lately. Here is a direct post from Sergio the creator of SCA:

"Hey there, I received some DMs about this over the weekend.

We are working with Apple to figure out what is wrong since some people cannot get the app to work for the last month or so. The website still works fine, but apparently one of the Apple versions is having issues. Unfortunately we cannot replicate the problems as the app works fine for the three of us. The good news is we will be re-doing both the Apple and Android apps COMPLETELY when we launch SCA 2.0 later this year. We can't begin working on the new apps until we finish the website portion, though. However, we have been testing both versions all weekend and cannot get them to crash on our devices.

I've got Apple looking at "crash reports" to see if they can identify the problem but they are soooooooooooooooooooooo dreadfully slow at responding. There is nothing more frustrating than getting reports of a bug from SEVERAL people and not being able to replicate it yourself!

SCA as a whole needs a LOT of improvement, and that's what we are working on for the next release....MANY big changes and upgrades coming. Now if only we could get the dumb apps working in the meantime?

A week or so ago I got an email from Photobucket saying they were going to do an upgrade soon. I wonder if they will bring back free 3rd party linking? Who am I kidding they won't.

Meanwhile I'm getting emails from them for discounts on purchases of prints from your photo albums. And emails for whatever else they are promoting now.

Good move! I really like SCA. I agree about PB. I don't even like looking through it to view other people's stuff at this point. Hopefully soon no one will be on there anymore.

Hmm just checked and it seems I have a flickr account. I wasn't sure if I had signed up or not. Apparently I signed up back in 2009 with my AOL account. I guess I'll start adding some pics later tonight at home.
