Now historically speaking

the initial issue of Ginter in 2006 did not have any unannounced mini sets

But it had rip cards

I pulled 3


I pulled the mantle first

and that made my decision to rip with enthusiasm on rip cards 2 and 3

2007 featured the first unannounced case hit minis

sadly I pulled no rip cards in 2007

2008 featured 2 unannounced 5 card mini sets

and I did pull 3 rips and traded for one

2008 was also the year topps gyped everyone at the national

teasing a 10 card ginter promo for their etopps yankee stadium release

collectors and ebay sellers were quick to find out topps did not "pack out" all 10 cards in their goodie bags

Here is the 6 cards those poor boogers got along with an advert to go to the etopps booth to see if they won



sadly the cards of reggie, aaron boone, pope benedict and one other mysterious card (joe Namath) I was told never showed up.

2010 rip cards

Well I met a guy who was working on the extended set

I had pulled 4 and he had 13

I traded for his 13

and ended up with 17 , I traded for the Strasburg from somebody on tcc

and then I got bored trying to track down the other 30 or so

2011 topps clobbered us

2 10 card mini case hits

cost me a fortune to assemble these

facial hair and treasures





with all those fff, I had some bleepin f's of my own for topps marketing..





and believe me by the time I was done, I needed to find one of those "treasures"

I think I traded for 3 and pulled 2 or maybe vice versa

2012

again cursed topps caused pocketbook anguish by releasing
2 10 card case hit mini sets again!

fashionable ladies and guys in hats..

I just finished these two sets last month!

now I have some rip minis from 2012 and 2013 but for the life of me, I cannot find them


Also I didn't scan the massive 25 card retail only mini set topps issued in 2010 or 2011 called the biggest

Nor did I scan the 6 card 2014 Ultra Pro exclusive minis that extended 6 of the insert sets from last years ginter. I bought a binder which included 3 of the minis and paid on average 15.00 per card for the other 3 minis.
