Did the Devils and Senators after the game this afternoon with my friend. Best hockey graphing day quantity-wise for me so far.

I was close to getting Daniel Alfredsson twice. Coach Paul MacLean actually didn't sign, one of very few people I could recognize haha. Bunch of other players signed, many I didn't need. Chris Neil had quite a game, 24 PIM. Helping one of my fantasy teams a bit there. Very pleased with today, able to get a couple guys I couldn't get last season. Might do the Bucks in the city tomorrow. Might do a few things in the city next week too. Thanks for reading.

Well today was one of my worst basketball days of the season, but it's hard to believe. At least I hit double-digits. Let's take a look at my goals for today:

If anyone is wondering about what's underneath Derek Harper's signature, I think I know. At first maybe he thought I had another photo beneath it to sign. After all, he just finished signing 9 cards for the guy next to me lol. Maybe he started to sign and then noticed his mistake and stopped? I'll remove that part later then. So anyways, I started to have an idea of how today would go when I couldn't even get Brad Davis and Darrell Armstrong! Darren Collison, Dominique Jones, Kaman, Marion, Morrow, Carter and Dirk didn't sign. Even most of the younger players ignored us. For next week I want to do the Thunder. Heat have a Sunday afternoon game but I'm not even going to bother. Thanks for reading.

Ok guys last night I did the Tampa Bay Lightning last minute, rushed to get my stuff together. I was trying to look up images for Stamkos, Lecavalier and St. Louis and was trying to print one for Stamkos but was having problems so I had to rely on blanks. I couldn't find any vertical images I liked compared to horizontal, so that was a problem. Also wasn't sure if I'd see Steve Yzerman or Phil Esposito so that had me stressing about what item etc. Anyway, here's how I did:

I missed Marc-Andre Bergeron, Mathieu Garon, Victor Hedman and Sami Salo from having difficulty finding out who they were and from too much going on. Eric Brewer didn't sign. Stamkos came out and signed a bit. Unfortunately I wasn't directly in the front so it was harder to get my blank signed how I wanted so I couldn't get it. Lecavalier came out and same thing. I decided to just get a card out instead. Same thing for Martin St. Louis. And then I realized I forget to bring a card for him lol. For the Devils I was late for a couple guys like Stephen Gionta. Next time I need to print something for Adam Henrique. As for what's next, I'm not sure. Tomorrow the Thunder have a game and the Sabres play the Devils. But we have a storm coming tonight and tomorrow. Rain, snow and wind. Oklahoma City is really up in the air. Just have to keep an eye on the forecast. Right now says 40-60% chance of rain and snow for morning shootaround and 60-70% for gametime. If there's light snow, I wouldn't mind. But it'll be pretty windy too so we'll have to see...Thanks for reading as always.

Couldn't get Evander Kane, if I was in a better spot earlier I could've. Considered printing a pic for him since I still haven't been able to get an image I like for the blank I got signed last time. Missed Zach Bogosian, Al Montoya and Kyle Wellwood. Maybe Jim Slater too. For this week, trying to do Hornets tomorrow. Supposed to rain tomorrow so we'll see. Saturday might do Devils/Canadiens and the Atlanta Hawks are in the city Sunday so that's a possibility. Thanks for reading.

Rudy Gay and Andrea Bargnani didn't travel. Alan Anderson barely caught one of the buses so he couldn't sign unfortunately, was looking forward to getting to him. I asked him about the Michigan State game (his school) and told me they won no problem. Mickael Pietrus and Aaron Gray didn't sign. When Kleiza first came out, he said that the line was too long. Then he got off the bus, signed for a kid, signed for me and then went off somewhere. Later when he boarded the bus and people tried again, he said "My signature isn't worth ######." Everyone was dying. At least I finally got him lol.

I eventually got home and had a couple hours until part 2 of the day. Florida Panthers/Devils postgame. I predicted there would be the fewest people I've ever seen, no more than 20. Close, a little over.

It's not a good time to do them, a lot of the better known players are on IR. I was also looking forward to maybe getting Alex Kovalev and turns out he retired a few days ago...lol. Hasn't been with the team the past month anyway. Only player I know I missed was Peter Mueller, that was it...Didn't recognize any of the coaches, would've liked a pic with some of the Panthers from the early days. Definitely would've recognized Bill Lindsay. Didn't see Craig Ramsay either. Went over to the Devils side and got nothing this time. I'm glad I got Huberdeau and Campbell at least. When Zach was signing, near the end he grabbed one of the kid's sharpies, signed my photo instead and boarded the bus. Just would've liked him to have used my bolder one but at least I got him. I thought with the crowd today, there was a chance Tayshaun would sign. Jon Leuer said he'd sign when he comes back but he didn't. It's funny that he's been tough to get lol. Mike Conley was signing when Dexter Pittman and Darrell Arthur came out unfortunately. I needed Arthur on a tri-card. But overall, a very good day. Friday I could be doing the Bobcats with my friend. Ended up doing the Islanders/Devils postgame. Did well, and got someone I never expected I'd get. For the Islanders I had a 40th anniversary 8x10 from last year but I never got around to getting it signed.

I was a little late for a couple guys. We missed guys like Slowey and A.J. Ramos because we weren't sure about them. Chad Qualls didn't sign. Giancarlo signed for 2 that snuck inside and no one by the bus. Polanco signed for a few. After the first bus left everyone left but I stayed. While I was waiting for more Marlins, I saw a couple celebs. Apparently there was also some comedy roast for Bob Saget going on. I heard something about Gene Simmons being there. Saw him come out, decided to get a pic with him. A minute later I saw Al Roker and also got a pic with him. Sometime after, Blondie appeared too. Had no idea it was her, security told me. I didn't see anybody board the 2nd bus but I had to leave a little early because I was doing the Milwaukee Bucks next, met up with my friend there. Did alright.

I know Goldwire was running late but I'm just unhappy with how he signed my cards (at least the 2nd one looked a little better), was looking forward to seeing him. Same thing with how Dalembert signed my SHU piece. Joe Wolf would've given Henson and Dalembert a hard time about how they signed if he saw lol. Pretty decent day with these 2 teams, and nice surprises with Simmons and Roker. As for what's next...might do Maple Leafs tonight. Could hit up Sixers Tuesday and maybe some hockey next week. WOW thats been a lot of autos in the last week or 2!! Has to be fun to wait out by the back door and chat with the players. I kinda miss that when I work for the Joliet Jackhammers (minors) baseball. Except when I meet Pete Rose and he refused to sign for me "because he didn't have time" even though his limo driver had to go get the limo. And whats really funny is downtown Joliet is a bunch of one ways, so they would have to go all the way around a couple blocks just to get to the back gate lol. It only took about 5-7 mins after the guy left before he got back, REALLY NO TIME!!! And he was rude about it. But he signed 2 balls for some kids, that asked him right after I did!!! And im not sure why or how them kids got back there?? They were about 12-14 I was 16 or 17 that year? Anyway, hope he never gets in the HOF.

Nice to hear from you Jason. Yes these days lately have been the most busy for me in a while. Cool you had a chance for Pete Rose but I'm sorry about that. You hear these excuses all the time. They get into a habit of rejecting you that they get so used to it, and don't sign when they easily could. In that situation he should've signed, especially when he had to wait. I mean at the time you were 16-17, c'mon. But this is Pete Rose we're talking about. I don't blame you for feeling the way you do about him now. I experience that crap alot, changes how I feel about a few players. Out of the 4 sports, I look forward the least to doing baseball. I just don't have much fun doing it.

Ok I did the Senators last night, did very well. I was hoping to do the Bruins Weds night and maybe get Jaromir Jagr. Unfortunately there was a chance of rain during that time. I found out from some of the guys there that it was pouring and stuff (I'm surprised it was actually pouring). Very few guys did sign. Tyler Seguin did...and Jagr did too....I heard security was great, equipped with umbrellas to protect everyone. I would not have liked to risk the rain (esp with things getting wet and damaged) but turns out it worked well for those wanting Jagr, signed for everyone. Hope I have another chance for Jagr in the postseason perhaps. Anyway, let me get back to last night. It was another night where showers were a possibility. The mist ended by the time we got there. A brief mist returned late while graphing the Devils.

Unfortunately there was a mist of rain while I was waiting for him (You might get a sense of that in the pic). Didn't cover my card and my sharpie was uncapped for a minute or 2. Pretty good night though. Very happy I got Mr. Senator this time around. Might do a couple things next week. D'Backs and Atlanta Hawks are on Weds and then Devils/Panthers Saturday afternoon. Had a 2-part day. I actually expected getting like 30 autos today. I went after the Diamondbacks today and then after that I wanted to do the Hawks. There was a chance the Pistons were at the same place too, but turns out they weren't. Today could've been better, thank God I got couple sweet ones. I would've liked to have gone yesterday (where practically everyone except Goldschmidt signed) but I wanted to do the Hawks too.

Have to come back in July to get a lot of these guys, especially those coaches. Now on to the Hawks. First let me tell you guys about graphing the Hawks' hotel. Now I already knew the team was mostly 1-per. Today I was able to get coach Bob Weiss on 2 cards so I thought things were improving. But when I tried to get Horford on 2 cards, the guard didn't let that happen. Their head security guard made some rules early this season. Now he gives players a black sharpie to sign with and doesn't even let you take pics with them...ridiculous. He probably doesn't allow them to sign blanks either, I didn't try. I hate this crap, unnecessary.

Afterwards I could've met Ricky Gervais, he was on Jon Stewart. But I didn't feel like waiting more, just wanted to go home. Friday I might go to Citi Field for the Mets and maybe some Nationals. I was kind of surprised to get Justin Turner, last year he never really signed out there. He was with a few players, I called for him and he came by. Surprised about Matt Harvey too, esp because he was pitching. And I was so freakin close to getting Bryce Harper!! 2 people away! If I would've ran over there right away I would've gotten him. Ugh. After I was done at Citi Field I decided to checkout things for the Celtics and/or Bulls. They play today. Someone told me they arrived an hour before I got there. I only hung around there a little, only saw Courtney Lee and maybe Brandon Bass. Also think I saw coach Armond Hill. I didn't feel like going back into the city for them today, don't want another long day. However I'll be doing the Panthers/Devils postgame in a couple hours. At least later on, someone was generous and gave me one of his flawless Parros since he got a few signed. In the pic, that card is the one separate from the other cards. I'm glad at least I recognized Moller, no one else went for him. Took me a few seconds to remember his name and I was able to get his attention right at the last second. Coach Dineen and Gord Murphy didn't sign. Missed Fleischmann. Same thing happened with coach Craig Ramsey as with Moller, but I was a little late. Of course it was packed for the Devils on an afternoon. It was as if it was a Stanley Cup game. Only stayed for a little. As for what's next, Tuesday will be a busy one. Dodgers are in town along with the Celtics. Might try for some NFL Draft hopefuls too. Also Devils/Canadiens play so I might do them postgame. Thanks for reading.
