Just saw the replay on Fox, Pierz barrels into Barrett trying to score....sitting beside the plate he slaps it with his hand...then hops up and Barrett corrals him with his arms and then from the backyard delivers a shot across the chops of AJ.....Another player trying to hold back Barrett appears to catch an elbow as Barrett was winding up again.....Make sure and catch ESPN highlights!!! Sorry for the typing, I have my daughter in my lap....

That was the biggest punch I think I have ever seen landed in a baseball game, the only other one I can think of close is the Nolan Ryan one on Ventura. A.J. has known to have a bad rep but he didn't really seem to do much in this case. Barrett was WAY out of line and I can't believe he did that. I hope he gets 50 games, what he did is just as bad as what Delmon Young did with the bat. I hate the Cubs more now and they are horrible and am glad the White Sox kicked their ###!
