My 8 month old likes music. Rocks his head like a banger. So, after Blues Clues in the morning, the videos or internet radio goes on for him to listen to while I do house work.

Flipping through the channels, I see the MTV is no longer in the music video or music business? My how MTV has changed.

So, it is IMF (International Music Feed) for me.

Yeah MTV and VH1 and the other music stations hardly show music anymore. It's really annoying. At times when they do show videos they usually only show half of it anyway and it's really stupid. I do think that the best bet is early in the morning but that's about it.

MTV 2 is far from new. Its been around a loooooooong time, its just limited. Not on cable, its a local channel, some cities have it, some dont. And its tough to get anyways. Rochester Used to have it, but we lost it a couple years ago, which is too bad cause they showed Wild Boyz and Beavis n Butthead smile.gif

As most people said it comes on for about 3 hrs every morning then everything else is just shows about celebs(Which gets very boring after one episode). That's all everything is now is shows about celebs and how they live, its crazy dry.gif

I like rap and hip hop to an extent, but some of it does go too far nowadays especially with the videos.

I think it funny that the original music TV station no longer plays music. I was around when "video killed the radio star" but now it seems that video killed ALL the music on that station.

We have Dish network and it has an abundance of the music video channels (along with their own brand of CD music and Sirius). Like I said earlier, the one music video channel I have come to like is IMF (International Music Feed). Plays all kinds of music, has some inhouse staged stuff (like the Chili Peppers a few nights ago). It is what MTV used to be.

Pimp my Ride is the only good show...Im getting tired of MTV and VH1 only showing celeb lifes and reality, I mean cmon I cant believe they're getting $$$ for video taping their lives they're people like ne1 else. Same goes w/ Punk'd it was funny at 1st but now its lame and its the same thing over and over again
