Wow, what a game. I feel sorry for the Packers after a great regular season (and especially OC Philbin, who lost his 21-year old son this week), but that was a great effort by the Giants.

Eli played well and the defense frustrated Rodgers all game.

Looks like Giants all the way. In the past decade or so it's been the team that has been coming in hot during the playoffs. That team is the Giants. Compared to the rest, they appear more well-rounded than the three other remaining teams: two defensive-minded and one all-out offensive attack.

What's more frustrating is the amount of unforced dropped passes. Rodgers was on the money on almost all his passes.

Although the GB receivers were awful, Rodgers actually played quite poorly. Some mistimed throws and missing wide open receivers. Listening to Steve Young on ESPN this morning, he made a good point that the Packers really made a tactical error in resting Rodgers for that many weeks in a row.

Having said that the Giants simply outplayed the Packers and deserved to move on. Tough game coming up against the Niners.
