Everyone,
I know I said I was leaving the trading world, but thats only trading. I am not going to leave my sites b/c of trading. So, here's my question: What is your career job or what is an ideal job you want? For me, I wanted to go into the Sports Industry, but now, I have a changed of heart. I have been watching a lot of movies, and I decided that I want to be a Movie Critic, like Roepert and Ebert. I haven't decided on a school, but I think I won't be going to the University of Georgia. More or less, I believe I will be going to a Filming School after High School. So, whats your answer?

So, here's my question: What is your career job or what is an ideal job you want?
*

Nearing the completion of my 9th year working at the same company since I graduated from college, I'm increasingly wanting to work for myself. So, that would be my ideal job.

Maybe someday I'll be able to work on my various trading card sites/projects and actually make a full-time living at it. biggrin.gif

Hopefully, I'm not so old that I'd rather not be working at all though. laugh.gif

I'm doing my ideal job....just not at the ideal place. I'm currently on the market for a job with a police department in the central to south central texas area.....in a city of between 15,000 and 30,000 people. If I find something in a place like that I would like to stick with it until I'm around 50 years old and then start looking at getting a job as a Chief of Police with a department of about 15 to 20 officers and working there until retirement. If I wasn't doing this I would be doing heating and air conditioning making real MONEY...something I'm not currently familiar with.

In Papua New Guinea, it is illegal for a girl to be a virgin when she is to be married. They have these 'priests' that go around the country to 'deflower' the girls just before marriage. smile.gif

I have the best job a lady can ever have, my job has full benifits and great returns on a good hard days work... I am a house wife, and my dream is to move to a cooler place and open a sports card shop when Ron retires.

Thanks

Well, aside from managing the winnings from a Powerball jackpot win...

I love what I do, but I don't particularly enjoy marketing, since I abhor most advertising tactics.

I have been self-employed for 6 years, the longest I worked for anyone else was a 4 year stint during my last year of college and first 3 post college years.

During that stint I learned a lot, including that I didn't want a "normal 9 to 5 job"...got into working for myself...then my two kids gave me an excuse to keep this kind of job for the time being.

Planning on doing something new when they get into school, but not sure what...
