The issue I have with ebay is the fees that you have to pay for listing/selling all of the time.
I am also looking into possibly joining the dealers on Beckett and seeing if I cant just start out that way and see what happens.

i am 33 and ive been doing IT work now for the past 10 years and make a decent salary at it, but it's not something that I LOVE DOING, so that is why I am seriously considering this as another venture and not as a GET RICH QUICK SCHEME.

baseball, football and basketball.

stay away from hockey as i dont know much about that stuff.

I am seriously thinking of starting my own shop.
I have tossed the idea around in my head over the past few years and have seen how trends have come and gone and think that to start with, my best bet is to go with an online type of storefront until I build up revenue and customer base. Then possibly opening up a live storefront down the road.
Any card store owners out there, please hit me up with any and all ideas that you may have as well as any advice for newbies to this type of business. I know we have a lot of dealers on this site, so I expect some good advice fellas!

Are there any type of loans you'd recommend as far as getting this up and going?
Any set amount of cash? I was thinking of 5-10k for the initial investment.
Thoughts, ideas?
