Not sure, but I thought they used foil numbering on their parallels. I think fake based on that, but not 100% sure.

I can't confirm that it is custom made but I can say I've never heard of a 2003 Fleer Tradition 1/1 Brett Favre either. I've gone back through a couple of my older checklists (I make new ones every couple of years because I always seem to screw them up somehow) and none of them have it either. I've always taken my CL info from Beckett.

I also noticed that the numbering they did use for the mini's and the tiffany's was on the back above the name at the top of the card. I don't know why they would have changed the location for a 1/1

The item description is funny as well, If it were a 1/1 don't you think they would have pumped it up a bit rather than just saying it was found in a box of cards in the back room.

I'm guessing its a custom made card (just a regular old base with a fancy 1/1 stamp) and the seller duped someone. Whether he did the stamping or not who knows. I'm sure if you ran across a card with a 1/1 stamp on it though you would check it out before you put it up for sale wouldn't you.

It looks like just a base card to me with the "1/1" typed or stamped onto it. The location of the "1/1" is low enough it looks like they could have placed it fairly easily on a standard typewriter and typed the info without causing damage from the roller. It might have taken some patience to get the card to sit just right in the typewriter. Not impossible but you can't be sloppy with it.

I feel sorry for whoever bought the thing they spent over $20 for a card they could have gotten for a buck or less. Minus the special "1/1" printing. I love that the seller "just found this in a box of cards we had laying around the backroom"

I think the bidding says it all... no true 1 of 1 Fave is selling for $20. This is a fake.

I vow to no longer purchase any product that features sticker autographs...

It could be a card that was released after Fleer's bankruptcy. However, the stamping looks a little off to me.

This one is without a shadow of a doubt a fake. Fleer used silver foil stamping to number these cards which have no 1/1 parallels anyway. This is just a base card that someone has doctored to sell online.

The card looks fake and probably is but there is a chance that it came out of the Fleer vault after the bankruptcy. I have a game used card that they sent me along with another card to make up for a redemption they screwed up and the GU card is not on any checklist. I know the card is real and straight from Fleer but they doled out hundreds maybe even thousands of promo autos and GU cards not to mention one of a kind cards that were given out as gifts to bigwigs so determining if the Favre is fake or not is almost impossible unless you actually contacted someone who used to work for Fleer and they probably don't know either. With that said, I would stay away from those cards.
