Only thing newer is SPGU, 4 hits plus 2 numbered cards, no idea on the price though.

I think Series 2 is supposed to be out next week but I'm not really sure on that

Just to pitch in, I opened a box of SPGU. Visually, it's really nice stuff, but I was pretty unimpressed with the quality of hits. It is A LOT cheaper this year, though.

Also, I'm thinking about joining, just not sure which team I'd want. Would it be alright if I grab a spot and pick the team after seeing the box group since my #1 choice is off the board?

The boxes are hit or miss, but that pretty much sums up SPGU every year. Depends what you get I guess.

I agree all UD products are "cheaper" or "watered down" this year like base ud with GU every other box, SPGU being 4 hits instead of 5 (not counting the numbered base and parallels). Also not sure whether the "Banner Season" hits are real hits or manufactured hits? Thinking manufactured. It is really disappointing, but I guess when you have the monopoly you don't have to compete so you can do what you want, like continue a several year run of the same inserts (SS, Portraits), "water down" products, etc.

As for adding you to the group, I am OK with it. Anyone have an issue? Please post or pm me and let me know. I generally like to have everyone in on a team before box groupings just to ensure that I am using a good budget to build the grouping as wouldn't want someone to decide not to be in after building groupings because I did not include something they liked, etc.? Not that you would do that, but others have.

As for groupings I would like to get something up in the next day or so, as DA has a valentine's sale going on and maybe we can get some deals before they expire.

You have received a trading card with a piece of decorative banner certified to us as having been used by the NHL during events at the 2014 Stanley Cup Final." Mine is Tyler Toffoli, but the piece has absolutely nothing to do with Toffoli specifically. They look neat, but not much else. Better than manufactured, I guess?

I'll just grab the Flames if that's alright for this month!

The banners are a part of the backdrops used in interviews is what I saw/read somewhere. So when a player is at the microphone/podium and there is that large backdrop behind them with designs on them, that's what they used I think UD said.

I think they would be a lot cooler if you only put in auto'd versions, and the autos were on the banners instead of a sticker auto next to it.

That makes them a little more interesting, but still not enough to be a hit in a $100 pack IMO. Yes auto'ed on the banner would be cool, but getting that done would take more expense for UD then shipping stickers to players so I doubt they would do that.
