I'm back and I'm strongly in favor of postponing the anniversary celebration until January. Because we all know Christmas gifts don't buy themselves.
Plus, January has some nice new releases like Trilogy, SPGU, and SPx, which would make for a nice time to have some extra money to spend.
Here are 4 options, using DA prices. My preference would be #1 or #4. I'd really like to get the Powerplay set. There's one jersey per set, plus everyone would get team sets for their teams. Not much suspense when we open it, but at that price point it'd be nice to get the team sets.

I agree on the Anniversary issue. Thanks for pulling these options together, they all look pretty good.
I like both 3 and 4, the only thing I do not like on 4 is Powerplay, just because I think there is a lot better stuff we could buy for a few more $ like some of the 03-4 Pacific stuff, or even 06-07 Flair Showcase.

Thanks for adding the number of hits. If people don't like the powerplay, just sub in any similar product. Maybe 03-04 Pacific Quest for the Cup, 97-97 BAP series A, 06-07 Flair Showcase, or 06-07 Beehive.

For now, I am saying it is $26 like last month, 1 due to the holiday, 2 it is already the 5th of December and getting a little late in the month to price it that way, as some members might back out due to the price. Bill has not posted yet, but with as busy as he has been, I am thinking he will be leaning torward doing the "anniversary" break next month.

Well, Dwight and I both have the ability to do LIVE box breaks on Ustream.TV. Do any other members of this group box break have that ability?

I should have Ustrem capability but will have to check. Also would have to make sure the 'rents would allow me to have the cards shipped here (they never have been too hot on me participating in these )
As for options, I would DEFINITELY go with choice 3 as I posted earlier.
*EDIT* Just tested it out, I am UStream compatible! Still have to doublecheck on if I can break from here but hey, UStream is a go!

Alrighty, just got permission from a friend to host from his house since I'll have relatives staying in my room (where my computer is) around breaking time. I'll head over to his house this afternoon to make sure I'm UStream capable from there but it looks like I should be able to host this month. I'll post after I test it out and let you guys know.

I should be able to do PayPal, just need to make sure of which account I should use as I would do the breaks from my friend's house. Also an update, I tested it out, I am UStream ready from his house, I just need to work on getting a mic since the audio is a tad soft but it looks like I can break this month if needed.

Should hopefully be ordering tonight after I get out of work. Next week seems more likely as the only day I'm free this weekend is Saturday and I have family coming in for Christmas so it'll be hectic. As soon as I know what my work schedule looks like for next week and once I find out when the boxes will arrive I'll set a date.

Just checked the status on both packages and it looks like both should arrive tomorrow. If that is the case, would you guys want to break tomorrow night? I could also probably break Saturday night and Sunday night. I just thought it might be cool to break on New Year's Day if the boxes are in fact here.
I would think that a break at either 9:00p.m EST or 10:00p.m EST would be best based upon our past breaks.
Please let me know thoughts.

Also wanted to take care of a little housekeeping. Firstly, do you guys want your inserts in toploaders as well or just your hits and RCs?
Also, Mike (Yankeesjetsfan), has not yet paid for this month. I will give him a week or so to pay but if no payment is received by then, I will either auction off his cards or keep them for myself, I'll let you guys decide if it comes to that.
I'll try to get a thread set up for the Anniversary Month break tomorrow at some point.

I'll leave that up to you, but you might want to make that decision based on factors such as the numbering, player and more. In other words, a low-numbered insert of a star player should probably go in a toploader.

Don't know what you have around for toploaders, but the bigger sizes you can fit 3-4 regular cards in with sleeves. Otherwise if person has two hits in toploaders you can sandwich inserts in sleeves between the two toploaders in Team Bag. I also do something similar with the base, but it depends how much base person is getting too, or base in team bag between bags with toploader on each side. Also where the decoys can come in handy sometimes for shipping protection.
