I do not think there are any secrets, unless you know someone at the company.
Sometimes you do good, sometimes bad. It is all luck, and just when it goes good, it goes away for a while. I usually try to stick to the higher end products as you are more likely to get something out of them. Like Bowman Sterling (I got a GU bat of Johnny Estrada) or Pristine.
