I'm in again. Bill seems to have made it through the surgery alright from his FB posts he's smiling at least. He says it was from soccer...but I suspect he lost control of the Delorean when he was trying to get it up to 88 miles per hour.

As for the break it will depend on who is hosting, I would say the weekend of the 19th would be what we should shoot for depending on when we order product and when it will be delivered.

I would go with the most recent year on the Victory. The only hits in those are inserts and rookies and most of the better Victory rookies are put in UD S2, so any of those is fine as there will not be anything great, but some of the team collectors will get more cards for their teams.

Bad news. I'm going to have to drop out. We took my cat into th animal dr this morningbecause he hasn't been using the bathroom. Paid for blood work during the week and they couldn't find out what's wrong. now we have to have xrays done and that's 160 bucks. So, that's my card money for the month.

I hate doing this at the last minute, but there's nothing I can do right now. The cat is a part of the family and I cannot just let him suffer. I hope you guys understand.

I hear you, but my thought is I would not hold up the break for it, just not enough to do that over. You could always email them and see what they will do, but the cost to mail that back is going to be more than $5, so not worth it IMO. Maybe they will give you a credit of a few $ for the price difference which is fine with me. Again, just too small of an issue to move the break back 6-7 days.

Earlier this year, the Post Office changed its rules on packages (and raised the rates!)

ANY bubble mailer, no matter how thin, is now considered a package. As such, it is shipped at the parcel rate, BUT you can now add DC for the same cost as any package. It does not have to be a particular thickness.

If they tried to charge you DC on a bubble mailer at the letter rate, they were in error.

The problem is they have changed the rules so much and I don't even think the clerks know them all. I get bubble mailer packages with $.88 in postage on them, yet when I try to send them I am charged $1.71 minimum, so not sure how others are mailing cheaper.

I just got the crabby old lady at the PO, As many times I mailed out cards, one or two cards in a bubble mailer is $1.71 with 80 cents for the DC, anything over 4 OZ is $2.05, If I just send cash in PWE, then it would be just one stamp, but they wont put a DC on it, you have to get the cardboard mailer they have and charge you $5 something for a DC, just Stupid!!

@Mark-No wonder you dont trade!

@Brian-Yeah, and they are upping the cost of a stamp 1 penny! And the Postal service is losing Millions...Wonder why!
