Please close this transaction out. I sent DFlash a PM with a personal grievance regarding the way he sent the 3 cards( crammed all 3 in 1 soft sleeve which was crammed into a card holder making it impossible not to damage 1 of the 3 cards(Bondra rookie)). Luckily, the other 2 came out without any damage. Unfortunately, DFlash has lived up to his name and has DFlashed into thin air with no response. I'll chalk this up to the category of "not wasting any more time on a 1.50 card" and save my average transaction time. I had actually received the cards about 1 week ago (at the 14 day mark), but had wanted to make sure DFlash was satisfied on his end before sending him a PM, and then burned off a few more days waiting for a response. If there is any way to knock off about 7 days for this transaction, that would be great

I do understand your concern about the shipping method and resulting damage to one card. It's really your call then as to whether you want to accept what you've received as is (based on your post, seems like direction you're leaning) or whether you'd like me to act on your behalf to help resolve this.

Just let me know and I'll proceed with acting on this transaction based on your response.

Hello Bob,

Perhaps you can contact D-Flash and see if he will send 2 major hockey star cards or a rookie card that would be to my satisfaction( the same 1990 UD Bondra would work). I feel that would only be fair as I had placed 105 cards in 9 page sheets in numerical order and protected them with bubble package(paid 3.25 for postage to obtain 6.00 in cards). I'm even willing to send the damaged Bondra back to him once I receive the replacement cards, even though it would cost extra postage. If not, then I'd rather not keep chasing this...
I realize DFlash is new to the site and had wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt . But, if he is not willing to correct this, I want to make sure that other members should at least tread carefully when dealing with him. Bob, thanks for your time.

I contacted bob_TCC shortly after the situation arose and I am waiting for a reply.

Received a reply and contacting rascalboy. I'm sure bob_TCC can vouch that I did indeed send this question close to a week ago. I am not sure what took so long for a reply.


Just to make people aware of the situation, I sent three star cards breaking up a set to make this trade possible.
Rascalboy asked for more star cards out of this trade, breaking up my set further. I feel sending anymore star cards would make this a very bad trade for me and I would be ripped off.

That being said, rascalboy admitted to damaging the card while removing it from my packaging. Yes, I could've done a better job with the packaging, but these cards were in a box for 15 years and never got damaged. I'm not sure how many stores would take back products after the user admitted to damaging the product. As well, I have not been told how much damage their is to this card. Rascalboy did spend a quarter more than anticipated in shipping, so taking that into consideration, and giving half the value of the card (which I can't imagine the card being damaged that badly), I could send $1 through Paypal as compensation.

Yes, I did locate a PM from about one week ago asking for advice on how to resolve rascalboy's concerns. I apologize for initially missing that PM, but will simply remind all members that it's important that they communicate directly with each other to resolve all issues. While I or other TCC Collector Zone Team members can help to mediate, it is ultimately the responsibility of each member to resolve their transactions.

So, I'm glad to see that the issues with this trade have now been resolved. I will close it as completed.
