ted My wife is a graphic artist and does freelance stuff.. that is why we bought the G5!!! I was a mac head long before i ever learned PC's!! cause of her..!!

What kind of freelance stuff does she do? I've never freelanced with my design skills. The only freelancing stuff I've done is with my cartoons (yes Bob, I know... ).

ads for magazines.. she worked for a printing company for 15 years in downtwon stl and once the second child came that was it.. she started her frellance career.. it doesnt pay much but the tax write off is great!!

I'am Retired (Due to back injury) Journeyman Printing Press Operator. Did that from the time i was 16 to 48.

We've had quite a nice mixture so far... In fact, it's looking like we could start our own card company.

Let's see...

We have graphic artists that could design the cards. Then, we have a printing press operator that could print the cards. We also have several that could be involved in the delivery of the cards. In addition, we have a couple that could help run the company's IT department. Plus, we have a couple that could handle various software and web site projects.

Finally, we have a bean counter to track the beans... I mean money... and we have someone that could handle all of the accounting and taxes.

What are we missing?

Im a student in my 3rd yr going for a civil engineering degree...Im lucky for now that I dont need a side job w/ my mom still giving me $$$ so I concentrate on getting my degree

I'm currently a stay at home dad taking care of our 5 month old son and I sell cards on the side. Soon, my garden will be producing and I will be selling those at farmer's markets around the area.

In my prior life, I was a management official at several national parks around the country. I was the Chief of Administration for 10 or so years.

Kris, I have been stabbed, attacked, bitten more times than I can count, and so on. I have had to talk (not take) guns away from kids, one who had it pointing at me the whole time. While I am sure you have had to deal with these situations more often than I do, but I do deal with my fair share. When the poo poo really hits the fan, I am one of two guys that gets the call. Some days it just talking, other days it is one wrestling match after another. And as crazy as it may sound, I love my job. 

I can't believe he didn't mention the Hurler. Mike has a gal he deals with that can projectile vomit. He found that out the hard way

That's really cool. It's definitely a good business if you want to work at home.
