Was at Walmart yesterday and picked up a few packs of clearance football and one pack of 2019 Bowman Platinum. Don't know much about who is hot or not in these, except for one name.

2019 Bowman Platinum:

Top Prospects: Alec Bohm, Shane McClanahan, Julio Rodriguez,and Carter Kieboom

Base?: Pete Alonso RC , Blake Snell, Whit Merrifield, Eddie Rosario, Jose Berrios, and Aaron Judge.

Prismatic Prodigies: Casey Mize

Platinum Presence: Seth Beer

Bought the Platinum thinking it was going to be more like chrome, but did not realize it was not until I opened it. Think I did ok hitting Alonso RC?

2018 Absolute Football:

Base: Bradford, Jones, Robinson, Stafford, Watson, Luck, Donald, Brady, Kamara, Anderson, Aiaya, Brown (the former Steelers clown), Wilson, Winston, and Henry.

RCs: Danny Etling, Fred Warner, and Marcell Ateman

Inserts: Covering Ground - Todd Gurley II and 1-2 Punch - Brees/Kamara

Some decent stars in the base and inserts, but not sure on the RCs. Heard of Etling, but not the others.

2016 Prizm Collegiate Prospects:

Pack 1: Julio Jones, Derrick Henry RC, Nate Sudfeld RC, and Jordan Williams RC prism variation.

Pack 2: Aaron Rodgers, Thomas Rawls, Jeff Driskell RC, and Jason Spriggs RC.

Pack 3: Jimmy Graham, Jordy Nelson, Jordan Jenkins RC, and Joshua Perry RC.

Blue Prizms bonus pack: Brandon Marshall, Nick Vannett RC, and Nelson Spruce RC.

A few stars in college uniforms, don't know any of the rookies, but these were the style of cards I was hoping for when I bought the Platinum baseball. I miss Prizm for hockey, that and OPC Platinum are the style of cards I like, especially the refractors and color variations. Even if the players are scrubs, the cards just look cool to own and look at.
