Would've printed something of Gonzalez but wasn't sure if he'd travel, it was believed he'd be landing on the DL. He signed for everyone, but barely got him at the end. Was 10 min late for Tulo, never signed when he came back. Missed Rosario and Helton (only signed a few). Same thing with Dante Bichette. Came out while CarGo was signing, only signed a couple by the bus, wasn't quick enough. Also couldn't get LeMahieu and De La Rosa didn't sign. Not a ton of guys for me to go after for this team. Wish these guys came back, just unhappy about today. Might do the Tigers Friday...but I already know it's not gonna be good...Well thanks for reading.

Didn't go for the Tigers Friday...but I kinda regret not going. Would've gotten Prince, Scherzer and Torii. Did the Angels today. Not one of my double-digits days but I got some good ones. The last one was a shocker, and it's not who you think.

After that went to grab some lunch and then went over for the Blue Jays.

Rajai Davis actually signed for someone. Got pics with Arencibia, Hentgen and Kawasaki. Hentgen I saw a 2nd time, couldn't get him on a card after the pic with, oh well. Even Cabrera signed a couple, but not in the right spot. Some we didn't see were Prince, Leyland, Jackson, McClendon and Sanchez. Very frustrating day. When I got to Citi, I missed Michael Young by maybe 30 minutes. Apparently I missed Ike Davis, which is a big surprise. Got Dice-K on another Victory Japanese card, asked him to sign it in Japanese. Need to get him on something better next time. Duda didn't sign. I did get something from him later though. When I got there, heard Byrd and Buck were traded. Saw them before they left. It was rough inside. No Phillies came over to sign during BP. I did get a ball during BP. Duda hit one off a chair and then it hit me in the calf. Later another ball deflected off the tarp at just the right point and hit me in the chest and back on the field lol. After the game I found out Cliff Lee signed a few over the dugout. Only one to sign minutes before first pitch was Frandsen. Couldn't get Young. Game ended early so I had a little time to graph outside but nothing for me other than Darling. Also saw Carlos Torres. Next on the agenda, trying to do the Orioles on Friday. Hope I can do fine with them my one and only time of the season. Thanks for reading.

God what a lousy past couple days. Make that week. Yesterday I finally decided to go to a Newark Bears game. Garry Templeton is the coach for the team this season. They played Trois-Rivieres from Quebec. They have 2 coaches, Travis Wade and Pete LaForest (didn't need him).

Templeton would not sign. I was very disappointed. I heard he had been a pretty good signer this season. I was the only person to ask him, asked him half hour before the game and he said something along the lines of "I'm not signing" or "I'm not signing now". Only a few people even in the stadium at this time. Guy that was by me was in shock when he said no. After the first game of the double-header he refused me and this other collector that also had never gotten him before. Let's just say I was not a happy camper. And the other guy was so fed up that he ripped his 8x10 in half. I just left, huge waste of my time. Besides Sparky Lyle, I have never had a problem getting an autograph at a minor league game. He's left a lasting impression of himself on me. So today I went to do the Orioles and hoped I'd have some kind of decent day at least. The crap carried over from last night.

Must've been 25 people around at least. Couldn't get Uehara and Bogearts, too many people. Missed John Farrell. Was a pretty rough start. Pedroia signed for a kid, I think Gomes signed one. Andrew Bailey, Breslow, Dempster, Doubront, Stephen Drew, Ellsbury, Lackey, Lester, Ortiz, Andrew Miller, Napoli, Nava, David Ross and Victorino didn't sign. Juan Nieves, Will Middlebrooks and Rubby De La Rosa were a few others to sign. Crowd died down considerably by the time I got Eckersley and Peavy. Only maybe 5 at most for Peavy. Wasn't aware Eckersley was an announcer, was a nice surprise for me. On the way out I noticed a small crowd of people that seemed to be surrounding something in the NHL store. Turned out Patrick Sharp and Matt Moulson were there for some appearance, doing a Q&A at that moment. Bought a puck for Sharp a little late and wasn't able to get him as they were done. I was off by maybe a minute. Interesting day. Might do Nationals next week. Also could see minor league game Saturday and graph Jets on Sunday. Thanks for reading.

Ok I graphed a little the past couple days. Saturday night I went to the Jackals playoff game against Les Capitales de Quebec. Tough loss with a double play to end the game. Main targets for today were Karl Gelinas, John Lindsay, Brandon Jones and Goefrey Tomlinson. Just missed Jones before the start of the game, said after the game. Couldn't spot Gelinas. So now back to the end of the game.

Only person there asking anybody. Jones ignored me or didn't hear me, whatever. Lindsay was the one that grounded into a DP and Jones was on deck. I like Lindsey's auto, makes the bottom loops of his last name as his shades. Before he was finally called up by the Dodgers a few years ago, I believe he spent the longest time in the minors ever before being called up. Decided to make a 4x6 for him.

Yesterday I did the Jets/Bucs postgame, did very well. This actually was a personal best for me for autos. I was hoping to see Brad Johnson, he isn't part of TB's staff but he was there against the Giants last year.

At the hotel Fernandez signed for a teen (wasn't happy about it) and like 20 secs later wouldn't sign for me. Sad thing is I was wearing a Marlins jersey. Didn't see him at all on the field. Heard last night he signed a bunch pregame. Felo Ramirez was cool, added his HOF without me asking. Saw Preston Wilson (didn't think he'd travel), unfortunately I recognized him as he stepped on the bus. A lot didn't sign boarding the bus, like Yelich. Didn't see Pierre at all. Nobody signed in the minutes before the 1st or the 2nd game. Up next for me, SF Giants in town for the week. Will go a couple times, maybe even go to a game. Thanks for reading.

Maybe DeJesus also, said he'd sign later. Fernando Rodney didn't sign later on when only 4 of us there, was hoping to get him on my 8x10. Pretty average day, better then the last ones at least. Thursday I'm looking to do the Brewers, maybe do the Rays late to try for Rodney again. Afterwards I'm gonna do something I haven't done in a few months, graph celebrities. Johnny Galecki is going to be on Letterman, going to print a Big Bang Theory themed 8x10 for him. Thanks for reading.

Interesting day. Sort of long and bad but what I got was good. Did the Brewers today. A possibility was leaving a little early to check out the Rays for mostly Fernando Rodney, since he usually leaves later. After that I'd head over to Letterman to see Johnny Galecki of Big Bang Theory. Well I was close to getting shutout, one of my closest times in the past few years. While doing the Brewers, nobody I needed really came out in the first few hours. My one autograph of the day:

After I got Ramirez this one security guy for the hotel was complaining about the 3 of us loitering by the bus. Can't wait to hear what happens the next couple days. Anyway some of the others to sign before the bus came were Alfredo Figaro, Brandon Kintzier, Jimmy Nelson, Wily Peralta, Rob Wooten, Martin Maldonado and Logan Schafer. Just missed Gallardo boarding the bus by 1 sec. After that, hung out back in the front again briefly if we see anyone else. Never saw Segura, decided to check out the Rays. Only players I saw were Price and Molina. Yep, didn't even bother. In the 20 min didn't see Price come back out or Rodney at all so I decided it was time to head to Letterman. Got there at 3 to be early, well turns out he got there at 2. A little later Bono arrived and signed. Signed for a few minutes, if I actually had something for him, he would've gotten me. 90 minutes later Bono left, not signing this time. A little later:

He signed down the line and got me at the very end. He was being rushed and thought he wouldn't get me but he listened to me. So today I got couple of the guys I hoped for. Went to the Mets final game of the season. Mike Piazza was inducted into the Mets Hall of Fame. Wasn't sure how many autographs I'd get today. Didn't expect to get so few, another bad graphing day. But today it was quality over quantity. Nice day anyway. Bunch of graphers around outside pregame. Not many Mets signed. All I got was a Brewer.

Signed a bit while walking into the lot, last one to get him. Wish he'd signed it in a better spot but whatever. Mike Piazza actually signed when he arrived, and for a few minutes. Couldn't get him. Aramis Ramirez only signed one when he arrived. Inside I got a couple.

I only know of a couple Brewers signing, one was Rob Wooten. Some Mets signed, no one I needed. Only one I missed because of uncertainty turned out to be Sean Henn. Terry Collins signed a bit and D'Arnaud over the dugout. After the game the Mets threw their caps and batting gloves in the dugout area. Another year that I come up with nothing, was maybe a foot away from a cap. I did catch a large bag of sunflower seeds lol. Sigh, of all the things to come to me. I didn't want to wait after the game for autographs but I decided to. Should've gone with my gut feeling, didn't end up getting anyone. A few guys did sign when driving off. Wheeler actually did sign but I was in the wrong spot. Could've been a much better day but I'm happy I at least got 2 of the guys I was hoping for. And I'm glad I got my photos done for the series. The 2 days I graphed it was interesting. If someone were to tell me that I'd get more photos than cards signed, or no cards whatsoever, there's no way I'd believe that. Well look how things ended up. Bad totals for me to finish the season but I'm happy it's all over. Up next, could be some hockey Thursday night. NY Giants are at home Sunday, so that's another possibility. Thanks for reading.

I did the Jets postgame today. Got a bunch. And someone I almost forgot about. So I'm watching the game before I leave and I say to myself "Oh yeah that's right, Bill Cowher is part of the broadcast crew here for today." He's usually an analyst from the NY studios. Phil Simms does the games too. Grabbed a card for Simms and a blank for Cowher because I wasn't sure I'd actually see them. By the time I get there, the game had been over for a few minutes. I walk past the visitors gate to get to the Jets area. Just seconds within being there, Simms comes out and Cowher shortly after. I get Simms on his way to his ride, says to me that he has to hurry. Only person trying to get his auto. As I was occupied with Simms, I didn't even see where Cowher went. Then I saw a few Steelers fans trying to get his attention in the car. So...

I was close to getting Santonio Holmes (shocker) and Geno Smith. Now about Hayden Smith (if it's him). He's #82. He was on the team last season and is not on the roster. After I got him, I wondered if it was someone on the practice squad or something. Maybe the Jets brought him back, who knows. Jets play the Patriots next week so might go back. Celtics and Heat play the Nets this week so I might do some pre-season graphing. Thanks for reading.

Did some graphing the past couple days. First up, did the T'Wolves and NY Jets yesterday. I really don't like doing all this on a Sunday, especially a football Sunday, but I just had to. Things didn't go as I planned. Let me just start off by saying I decided to do the Wolves for their morning shootaround. If I got everyone I needed my first chance, I'd go home, relax for a few hours and then go over for the Jets postgame. Well turned out they didn't leave for shootaround. I decided I might as well just stay there and see who I can get until I felt it was time to leave. I did well at least.

Went for the Anaheim Ducks. Also David Ortiz was appearing on Letterman, so gave that a shot too. So first I stopped by Letterman for about 30 min, just when I was about to leave for the Ducks, he got there. Didn't sign for anybody. On to the Ducks. Had a very good time.
