Well, I just paid for my 2nd auction that I won. I'm already remembering why I quit going to eBay about 2.5 years ago. Way too many deals.

Anyway, this was for a lot of 16 game-used/autograph cards. The list was not very specific, so this will be more of a "surprise" package when it arrives. However, it did include this list:

Brian Dawkins Pro-Bowl Jersey Card
Kliff Kingsbury 14/25 Autographed Card
Allen Iverson Jersey Card/76ers
Ken Dorsey Autograph
Eric McCoo Game Used/Autographed/Bears
Micheal Strahan Game Used Jersey Card
Jerry Rice Game Used Jersey/ 49ers/Raiders

We'll see what I get. I paid $23.79 delivered.

Again, you'll start to see some of these for trade as well. In fact, I'll let you in on a secret... I'll be buying several lots over the next few days in order to improve my trade list. That way, I'll be able to help a few of you that I know are just itching to see more trading here.

I figure any lot that you get where you only pay $1.50 plus/minus a little for game-used/autograph cards is a pretty good deal. Granted, you can buy lots of single cards for that amount on eBay but the shipping charges would kill you.

I agree that the Rice alone will likely be worth half or more of my total.

Well, after various e-mails back and forth to help the seller figure out how to receive payments via PayPal, my total went down to $20 on this auction. I think that gets my average per card (98 total from several auctions) closer to $1.40.

Well, this one arrived today and it contained 14 game-used and autograph cards and 2 insert cards. It was supposed to be 16 game-used and autograph cards, but I believe the seller mistakenly thought the 2 insert cards were autographed. Here's the full list:

Depends on what the desired returns are... In this case, the desired return is lots more trades here with me getting some nice new cards for my collection along the way.
