if you have not received card, i would be pounding your post office... they have it recieved at springfield and left there... it is between there and your post office.

It took me awhile with information.. a long while.. i got ahold of the post office in springfield...they informed me after giving them the delivery confirmation that is was scanned and processed out on dec 16th... for you to check your branch post office and give them the delivery confirmation.. either you have received the package or it is sitting at your post office... Springfield also informed me that the package did not go back through them for return.. if it had, they would of scanned the delivery confirmation sticker again...

According to the USPS web site, here is the current status of the package that Sports Showcase sent:

Based on this, it seems clear that Sports Showcase sent a package to gene01011. However, it also seems clear that gene01011 never received that package. The package is currently missing.

Therefore, we'll proceed with final steps to determine if the package can be located. If that cannot happen, we'll need to proceed with replacement cards or return of the cards that gene01011 sent and Sports Showcase received.

I honestly don't believe that is necessary since the issue is not one of whether Sports Showcase sent a package. Instead, it's an issue of how to resolve the fact that you did not receive that package.

Since we know that you did not receive the package, the best theory is that the package was misplaced between the Springfield location and your mailing address. Therefore, it does seem reasonable to ask that you talk to your postal carrier and local post office in order to simply verify that they don't have the package for some reason (insufficient postage, incorrect address, etc.). Is that someting that you can do in the next day or so, Gene?

Bob,
I have stated before that I have no problem sending replacements for gene01011. The problem that I am having is that I have been put on restriction due to this. I have also been told that after the restriction that I will be put on "send first only." I am not going to send replacements and be punished for something that is not my fault. I sent trade with delivery confirmation, so if gene01011 did not receive, and delivery confirmation showing that it is still between Springfield and his residence, this should have not been closed and me put on restriction in the first place. I have no problem sending gene01011 more cards. As a matter of fact, I have also state that I have them already packaged with delivery confirmation 0306 1070 0003 8295 8699. I will mail the package as soon as restrictions, that should have never been applied, is lifted. I feel that if anyone was in the wrong it was "finestkind." He started blaming people for this issue, and stating that if they did not mail in two days, that restrictions would be placed. "finestkind" preaches to have patience, well all I can say is "do as I do, not do as I say." Please lift restrictions and notify me and I will take package to post office. I will post the new delivery confirmation that is lifted above. I am a great, honest trader here on TCC. You can look at all my completed trades and sales. I want to keep it that way. Let me know... Bob,
I have several times and like I have said in past e-mails to Don. They have not seen it. My PO only has 3 employees and for them not to scan a package would just be stupid. Also, The town is very small and I know the 3 PO employees personally so if it had the wrong street addy on it and my name with the correct zip I would receive it and have in the past. The problem I have is I never heard anything about Don offering to send replacements. All I ever got was "Its at your PO go find out why they haven't delivereed it yet, so I did. and I found nothing. I repeat there are only 3 PO workers. The PM General, one other that works in the PO and 1 carrier!! 1 CARRIER!!!!!

I had nothing to do with the restrictions. I felt I was getting the blame for not receiving so I contacted a TCC team member to try to work things out. I would accept replacements as long as it is of same BV as the cards you received and I agreed with the card/cards.

I have not said that you are at blame.. TCC has already state that I am at blame. That is what I totally disagree with.

At this point, I have to address this point and will do so very bluntly...

Your insistence on the order in which things need to occur is only hurting your argument. Instead, you should simply do what is the correct thing to do in this matter - either send replacement cards or return what gene01011 sent to you.

Honestly, I had every intention of removing your restriction entirely once that happened. However, it is becoming inreasingly difficult for me to justify doing that when the impression you are giving is that the only reason you would resolve this matter properly is so you can get what you want.

In the end, the reason for resolving this matter properly should be that you want to make sure another member is satisfied - knowing that you did everything that could have been expected. That is what will guarantee many additional successful transactions here.

Plus, as a side benefit, you would have likely found that you were satisfied with the outcome of the matter as well. wink.gif

Please just quickly check with gene01011 and make sure that he's fine with what is being sent. I just don't want anyone else to get further frustrated by any issues with what is sent.

I also received this email from the postal service. they are going to track the first package down for me. I answered there questions and replied back..

I should get it monday however I work till 10pm monday so as soon as I get home and see it is here I will post it. And BTW I hope the USPS finds the other one for you and if it ever shows up here I will send it back to you.

thanks gene.. i believe you will and do not believe that you have received it. sorry if you took things the wrong way. i just felt that TCC was wrong for putting the restrictions on an open transaction were i had shown proof of sending.

I appoligize for the restriction I know I didnt put it on you I just contacted a TCC team member for some help on what to do. This is the first time this has ever happened to me since I joined TCC. I hope to do more trading with you and I am sure Bob with take the restriction off.

this is the first time that it has happened to me with a delivery comfirmation. The way that I was told, I never sent card in the first place. I do not know why they do not take the restrictions off. Oh well... I have done everything that I can.. I hope you enjoy the replacements. I tried my best to give you equal value.

As mentioned previously, my concern with this transaction was mainly focused on some of the comments being made in relation to gene01011's honesty in this matter, comments in relation to the action of team members and comments about requirements on how this matter would be resolved. My concerns have not been and are not about whether Sports Showcase should be involved in additional transactions.

Therefore, based on a review of Sports Showcase's complete transaction history and a belief that a continuing restriction would indeed be an excessive response to this matter (considering some of its unique details), all restrictions are removed from the Sports Showcase account.

This trade is now closed as complete.
