" Originally scheduled to release April 26, the street date for 2006 Press Pass Football has been pushed up to this Friday, April 21 – five days earlier.
With the release will come 2006's first "player-touched" autographs and game-used jersey cards of the biggest names in the draft. Along with the Big Three of Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart and Vince Young, collectors will also be able to find autos of Jay Cutler, A. J. Hawk, Vernon Davis, Chad Jackson, Laurence Maroney and many others.
"The diligence and hard work of Players Inc, the Press Pass product team, and the players themselves, have enabled us to release our product earlier than ever," says Tom Farrell, director of marketing for Press Pass.
Each hobby box delivers four signatures with four distinct autograph levels. The bronze autographs are accented with each player's school logo in metallic ink. The silver level is numbered to 200 and features the player's uniform number, while the hobby-only gold level is numbered to 100 and features a gridiron X's and O's pattern. Rare Power Pick Autographs showcase signatures of select standout players in the draft and are sequentially numbered to 250. As an added bonus, a limited amount of red ink signatures and nickname signatures can be found throughout all versions of the 2006 autographs, along with the much coveted Teammates autograph card, featuring autographs of Leinart and Bush.
There will also be three levels of game-used college jersey cards in 2006 Press Pass, with hobby odds for pulling a jersey card being 1:72 packs. The complete checklist for Press Pass 2006 Football can be found on www.rcertl.com.
