Just spotted this on eBay. Probably the nicest piece that Upper Deck has ever put together.

Nice Leonards, collecting a few Pittman's myself.  Wonder if there is enough room in the backfield for them all.

I doubt Pittman or Leonard will see really significant playing time unless Stephen Jackson goes down. Still its fun collecting your player, no matter how much on-field time he sees.

Just a couple of simple autos. I like these because he's in his Rutgers Uniform.

And thats the end of my Brian Leonard Collection... for now. working on two deals right now, but I don't know if they will go through.

Baseball coming up next. Get ready for lots of Yankees

The PC Threads on this forum are some of my favorites. I think everyone likes to look at cool cards, so I figured i would give it a shot.

Right now I'm collecting Alex Rodriguez, Brian Leonard, Mickey Mantle, and other Yankee stuff.

First off my newest Brian Leonard pick ups:

user posted image
Had to have it! In my opinion its the nicest NFL shield set out there because you get the full shield in a window thats cut to show off the full patch. And an on-card auto is always good!

user posted image
I wanted a letter patch of Brian Leonard and I thought National Treasures was the nicest looking one. The signature is terrible on the patch but that was secondary to me. Unfortunately its not game-used but it was cut from a whole jersey, so it kinda sits in between game-used and manufactured letters.

I know jwman92 is collecting Leonard too... Hopefully we don't step on each other's toes in the future.

I'll post a couple cards every other day or so so stay tuned!

Some of you might have seen the analysis I did on Topps Sterling Baseball and UD Black Baseball. Well I just finished one for Exquisite Football, which of course is the most anticipated football product of the year. It's a bit long but if you are interested in the product, I'm sure you'll find some interesting tidbits.

http://www.thecardblog.com/articles/2007-e...l-analysis.html

thanks for reading. any comments/suggestions would be much appreciated. i had a mountain of data and it was tricky to figure out what info would be most interesting/useful.

wow i beat raining blood last weekend on hard. honestly i never thought i would be able to do it in a million years. the key is to get the two star powers in the beginning and then when the song gets crazy use it and just start mashing buttons and hope you survive. if you can get past the initial madness the rest isn't that difficult.

unfortunately the battle with the devil is even harder... i don't think i'll ever beat this game on hard, let alone expert.

hey steve. incase you didn't know exquisite football has a dual Piccolo/Payton cut auto 1/1 on the checklist. i don't get why they didnt go with piccolo/sayers but still should be a nice card. i haven't seen any other certified piccolo autos.

i'll keep an eye out for it on the bay for you cuz its probably waaaay out of my price range.

So far a Hillary has sold for $1325, an Obama for $3K+ and currently there are 3 McCains on eBay.

I think its an interesting way to get a pulse on the election. Obviously if you are spending big bucks on a candidate's auto, you think they have a good chance to win. We'll have to see where the McCains end up, but so far Obama has a commanding lead over Hillary.

For more info check out my article (and a mild attempt at humor) here:

ok here's my random ramblings....

I don't think Michael is in the coffin. I'm leaning toward Ben, but I'm not sure. Here's why i dont think its michael. The Oceanic Six are huge celebrities. If one of the oceanic six was in the coffin there would be tons of people at the funeral so it must be someone else.

I think Ben fits better because well, he has no "real" connection to the real world. he has been on the island since childhood. all that stuff in the paper could have been made up by whoever eliminated him. maybe there was a picture of Ben or it was an alias (remember all the passports?) that Jack knew about and thats how he recognized ben's obit in the paper.

ok as for the new episode, i dont think Ben sent Harper the therapist to tell juliet. I think it was JACOB!!! Jacob is a main part of the island's mysticism so he would have a lot of motivation for just killing everyone on the island. maybe he wants the island all to himself or something. I think Jacob is pulling the strings behind Ben feeding him info about Widmore and other off island evil doers. Ben the puppet master is really just the pawn of the true manipulator.

I think Jacob is this sorta mystical being so he has the ability to make people appear on the island that arent really there. Harper, Jack's Father, Hurley's imagined friend, Kate's horse, Walt coming to locke, etc.... so jacob is this all seeing force on the island that is trying to protect the island and i guess himself from being discovered by the entire world.

so in the future i think we have a war coming but i have no clue what the sides are. widmore/hanso corporate baddies vs. jacob vs. losties/oceanic six?

end rant
