Oh no!!! styles quit last night on RAW, due to some negative coments saying that he was suppose to be like jim ross. Well rumors were boinling around tha good ol JR was coming back on raw last night. yet i think think there going to bring him back next week. So for right now is for Joey to take a break until ECW comes back on the air waves and JR will be back on raw next week monday.

Yeah there were reports running arround saying joey will be on full time with commentating everymove on ECW wether it will be on smackdown or RAW. Plus i seen this started to happen at the time JR was fired. He could never leave and i knew he would come back for Wrestlemania and soon enough on raw.

Scripted, i think if it was not vince would of told styles he was fired. i think its all the build up to ECW

hmmm.. I think the argument between lawler and him was 100% scripted.. Lawler sounded like he was forcing the lines out.. and where was coach?

The coach as well has been taken off of the team as well. To much negativity from him, will let you know more on coach when i get some news

Coach is supposedly promoting in Europe or doing something in Europe, and of course this was scripted he quits right before ECW makes a comeback and he'll return as "The Voice" of ECW. Of course JR is coming back they probably let him go to have that surgery and to take some much needed time off

According to reports, a good number of WWE employees and wrestlers were said to be shocked that Joey Styles was allowed to say the things he said during his promo regarding the storyline of him quitting WWE and the RAW announce table last night. What surprised many WWE staff and wrestlers was that some of the things Styles said were exactly what they think about the company right now and couldn't believe Vince and Stephanie McMahon would allow it to be said on a WWE broadcast. It should be noted that while many were surprised, it gave them the impression that WWE is fully committed to the new ECW project.

WWE employees and wrestlers being very surprised about what Joey Styles was allowed to say in his promo on RAW last night about "quitting" the RAW announce team, it should be noted that Styles wrote the promo himself, submitted it to the creative department and it was later approved. Despite some staff being surprised by it, WWE management was said to be very pleased with how it went and felt it was a good way to kick off the new ECW brand in the coming weeks.

One funny thing to note about Styles' promo was that many people wondered how the same WWE creative team could write something like that, yet write things like "boogers" and "poop" the night before at the Backlash PPV. As noted above, the extremely (no pun intended) well done promo was indeed written by Styles and not the WWE creative team.

With Jonathan "The Coach" Coachman not being part of the RAW broadcast team last night, it has led many to believe that the initial talk of moving him off the RAW announce team and making him a TV character in WWE storylines might be started very soon.

IF ECW is to work Styles (and RVD later) NEEDS to say those things TO BE "un WWE like" and to be the "outlaws". At this point though you could see it happening (like randell said), but it is in the right directions. Unless ECW TV taping happen on their own in the future, the proposed "double/triple" tapings are going kill the crowd by the time RAW starts.

Coach may be an active character for now, but McMahon still likes him because of his "look" and youth over Ross, who is still the best WWE announer. BTW, Coach was getting ---- ------ by Visera in Europe over and over again.

I thought the Styles "shoot" promo was the best thing about Raw on Monday. I'm wondering when we can expect to see Tazz turn on Micheal Cole so he could leave for ECW.

True, but Tazz is ECW more than WWE so I'm sure they will find something for him there.

Yes this was a shoot style promo and Styles was told to "go all out"; however, did anyone catch the "promo" on WWE.com where they editted alot of stuff out especially the Vince McMahon comments?

I can tell you Vince wants ECW financially to succeed, but his ego already is getting in the way.

This was brought on by Jim Ross as it was his call and The Coach will more than like end up managing Shelton Benjamin (if Mama doesn't come back) and/or Chris Masters.
