I admit the timing could be better with mjda starting up Bob's old multi-sport group but bringing back the Boxbreakers old "Exquisite Club" has been overdue and after talking with mjda I'm convinced both groups can be successfull together rather than compete together.

That being said we are reinventing our old "Exquisite Club" which will be renamed simply the Multi-Sport Group as we will not limit ourselves to just Exquisite products as we did before. The focus will still be mid-high to high end products but the actual products broken will be decided by the group. The only prerequisite will be that it must be a box containing no more than 10 packs so this can be an all-Youtube break and we can more easily focus on higher end stuff.

We will format this much like the old group where you join the group by selecting any available team (from any of the 4 sports - Football, Baseball, Basketball, and Hockey). Once we have filled up all 40 of our slots and collected the $75 slot fee we'll hold a draft (randomized order) where you can select another team (in any sport) and then use a reverse order 2nd round where you draft your 3rd team. You must hold a team from at least two different sports by the end of the draft. We will however allow trading following the draft so if you want you can end up with all 3 teams in the same sport.

As usual you get every card pulled from all the boxes broken and we will do the best we can to split the budget evenly between the 4 sports. Because this will be an on-going monthly group you will have the right to retain ONE team from one month to the next but the other two teams will be drafted teams each month. If you have interest in joining us you can select any unclaimed team to start with...just let me know. Dates to be determined but I'd like to have our first break in late June. Once we fill 40 slots we will continue to take names for the waitlist as with any new group there are bound to be a couple drop outs.

Idea, somehow every team I tried to get was taken preemail. Since these last couple spots are for the people who did not get the TIER 1 teams, how about the draft order is the reverse order of the teams list. This may help fill those final spots quickly and make the denial emails a little easier to deal with. Just a thought chris let me know what you think.

i too got rejected with quite a few teams. but i feel thats just the name of the game. with 4 sports being represented, i feel there are still "tier 1" teams out there. in addition there are only 5 more spots til fill. it wont be a hard fill and i would like to keep the draft randomized. that is just my .02

Patrick I understand the frustration of not getting a team you like better but I think we need to keep the draft process a random one. I also added you to the waitlist for other teams so if one of them decides to drop out you will be waiting in line.

I agree that with (4) sports represented there are still plenty of nice teams left to pick from. If I wasn't so committed in other breaks I'd take a shot at some baseball teams I have much interest in. The drafting for our second and third teams should be exciting. I've been waiting to get in some higher-end breaks.

Yes, as soon as we fill I'd like to get suggestions on the product list (each sport will have approximately a $670 budget). I'd then be looking to collect payments and then finally the draft followed by a short (2-3 days) trading period before we break.
