QUOTE(northicehero99 @ Oct 24 2013, 11:38 AM) Sounds like a nice box. Refractors are my favorite part of the chrome products although recently they have overdone it with all the different color and the x, super, etc. variations. Congrats! I agree to a certain extent, but these blue refractors look really nice! They all look really nice. Thanks for all of the comments guys! |

Went into Wally world and I usually don't buy blaster boxes but I really like this years Topps Chrome baseball and they had 1 left so I thought I would get it. I have NO IDEA how tough a hot box with all refractors are to get, but that's what I got. Every card in the box was a blue refractor (not numbered). I didn't get any of the "noteable" rookies such as Puig, Miller, or Gattis, but I DID get a nice David Freese die cut. Very cool looking card. Also got a REALLY nice hit!!! It was
Sepia Refractor auto of
Jurickson Profar numbered 59/75. I am going to get it graded. It is REALLY nice.
Thanks for looking. |

QUOTE(PJRoxx @ Oct 11 2013, 02:17 AM) So after waiting almost a year for a Bernard Pierce 2012 Topps 1984 Style Autograph that my son pulled, I finally got a replacement. Topps sent me hobby boxes of 2013 Topps and Topps Platinum! The Topps box was ok, nothing huge. Got a Geno Smith jersey, Kuechley Pink and Bears team card camo. Platinum was a lot more fun. Here are the hits: Gavin Escobar Auto/Jumbo Patch 07/25. Nice 2 color patch with 3 layers! Stedman Bailey Auto /150 Kerwynn Williams auto Zach Ertz Jumbo 4 Color Patch /59 RG3 Military Camo Die Cut Ribbon Montee Ball Black Refractor Geno Smith Xfractor Eddie Lacy Xfractor Denard Robinson Gold Refractor /50 Plus rookies of Geno, Lacy, Hopkins, Patterson, Austin and a bunch of others. 2 hobby boxes more than made up for the Pierce. The kids had a lot of fun opening it and we got some cool cards! All are for sale/trade. Looking mostly for 2013 Broncos in return, and rookie cards from 2013 Rookies & Stars and Prestige for a couple sets I'm working on. IM me if interested in anything. Thanks for looking! It's good to see that they made up for the redemption. I had a Pierce sent in for a year also.....but darn my luck they sent me the Pierce just a few days ago!!! hahah |

QUOTE(shaqcollector @ Sep 24 2013, 01:54 PM) I think I am going to sell the redemption to be honest. I am not a big fan of the whole redemption process. I have only tried to redeem 2 Items before. The first took almost a year to get to me "due to delays" and the other was not redeemed and a Replacement was sent. And the replacement was nothing like the original. Yeah those are the things you run into when you do the redemption stuff. I usually always redeem, just because I like to get the cards that I pull. There have been a few that I have just sold because I didn't care much for the player or the card. Either way you go....good luck to ya. |

That's about an average box I would say. The jumbo materials auto is actually a case hit. There are only 1 per case of those. They are good looking cards if you choose to redeem it. Thanks for sharing. |

Hey guys and gals, I just wanted to take a minute and tell you all about myself. I have been a member of TCC for a while now and enjoy the site and it's members greatly. As another hobby of mine I have been writing and singing country music for a few years now......well it looks like my hobby is turning into my job. I have signed a recording contract with an independant record label. I have currently released 3 songs to iTunes and 2 of them being released to country radio. The second release made it to number 8 on the new music country charts and the iTunes stuff has been doing well. I just wanted to let everyone here know because this is a community of friends that I have really enjoyed being a part of. My band is called Travis Tyler Band. I would greatly appreciate it if you all would "like" my band on facebook and if you like any of the music you hear let me know. I do appreciate all of you. You can find us here
www.facebook.com/travistylerband www.twitter.com/travistylerband www.travistylerband.com www.youtube.com/travistylerband and you can search for us on iTunes
Thank you all for the support and hope to see you when we are out on the road touring!!! |

I will just chime in here. I don't post a whole lot (but will post more now), but this is the first, and to this exact moment the only, card collecting forum site I am a member of. I try to come in here a few times a week. I will do my part in trying to post more on topics....especially in the box break/group break sections as that is what I enjoy the most. I very much enjoy this site, and have for years. Thank you Steve for getting the conversation going on this. I will also try to do some product reveiws on new stuff coming out. I don't get to bust a whole lot but I do watch a lot of box breaks. I will just give THIS collectors view of the product. |

QUOTE(northicehero99 @ Sep 8 2013, 06:46 AM) Nice hits. On the Prime it seems Boston might be one of the better teams to get as I was in a break with 1 box and saw a Hutchison patch auto from the Prime part and a nice 2 color patch of Rask in the Dominion part. Of course that break was decent for the Bruins as the person who picked them also got an Orr auto out of Trilogy. wow....yeah that is a nice break for sure |

I had taken some time off of the group breaks, but got in a couple last week. I really like the Prime hockey that just came out and the Tier One baseball as well. So I got into a couple of breaks this past week. The results were
Prime (I got randomed the Bruins)
Michael Hutchinson jumbo jersey 60/99 Michael Hutchinson RC Quad jersey autograph 227/249
Dominion Tuukka Rask base 93/125 Dominion Ray Bourque patch auto (1 color patch) 4/25 Dominion RC Patch auto Torey Krug 53/99 (4 colors VERY NICE)
Tier One (I got randomed the Orioles)
Cal Ripken JR jersey card Dylan Bundy ROSE autograph 19/25
all in all I think I did VERY VERY well. I am happy! |
