Team Collector. Collecting all the teams from 1903 to present. That's my main focus. But I also have some star players going--Mattingly #1, Mantle (just what is inexpenisve or a steal to get) Berra, Ford, Maris, Ruth, Gehrig and currently Jeter and A.Rod. I'd like to get all the base cards for Jeter and A.Rod. The same for Mattingly, except as many of the 1/1's as I can and other oddball items, as well. I also love the yearbooks. I've come to realize that I'd love to live in NY just to get the newspapers--I guess there is all kinds of added Yankee collectible stuff issued by them each year--I'm on the wrong coast.

I think thats what I fit in best. I would guess I am dabbler/box breaker if I had to categorize though.

I don't know what mine would count as. I collect Stars from the 60-70-80-90-now type, GU & AU cards, and My favorite teams players cards

For me Im a mixture of box breaker, team collector, player collector; but my main interest is AU/GU COLLECTOR. I think that the most value is in these type of cards(even though i will probaly never sell them). Also its just a cool concept to have a jersey or what not in a card

I am a mixture of Prospector and Team fanatic. I voted for Team Fanatic, because I have a lot of Dallas Cowboy's stuff in my room. I mean mini helmets and pretty much anything. I am starting to become a Prospector though, but who knows I just may drop the Team Fanatic and become a Prospector.

I chose player collector. I mainly go after base and sometimes GU/Auto. Usually prefer collecting players listed in my signature, but if I see something/pull something nice, I'll take it. I will collect my favorite players no matter what; if they are hurt, traded, team doing bad, player doing bad, I will still go after them. I've recently become interested in collecting sets, but not giant sets, just insert sets, since there are less of them. Sorry if I offend someone, but I don't particular like people who just tend to collect people who are "hot" at the time. It's basically saying you aren't a true fan of any particular team or player and you want to get the players while they're hot, mostly for money gain. I think of myself as a collector who collects for personal enjoyment. I often ask for prices on my cards, but I don't think I could ever see myself selling them. I like staying true to my favorite teams and players. I like originality, collecting to enlarge your collection, not collecting so you can get some money.

I'm the same way. I still collect Calico even though he is a free agent.

i don't know if i posted al ready but i voted team collector. IF it's a card wth the o's logo on it, i collect it, i trade for them, buy team sets, strip the o's cards out of some sets. I'm at 529, and i'm probaly not even 25% of the way there but as my sig said, goin for 1000.

I'm also somewhat of a player collector with rickey henderson. I probaly have about 100 cards of him, but i'm sure there are 5000+ cards of him.

Your main focus was what I was after. I'm not solely a prewar vintage collector. I do collect Bengals multi-colored patches and some other modern stuff. But prewar is my main focus.

I picked Team Collector with a bit of Player Collector. Steve Yzerman is definitely the player that I hope to have the most of but if it's a Red Wings card than I've got a place for it in my collection!

Player super collecter. My goal is to collect every Klesko card made. What can I say, everyone needs some kind of goal in life. Only have about 300 so I have a LOONNNGGGG way to go.

I would consider myself a Player Collector. But i have dabbled in prospecting and GU/Auto collecting. So it just depends on the time of year!! LOL My Barkley Collection has been on hold for a couple of years. (I have approx. 1000 different Barkleys. Not close to half of his cards.) The last 8 years have yeilded an obssesion with 03-04 Exquisite, a Marbury Auto/GU craze, Andruw Jones and John Smoltz "anything collecting", a buy "Lots" off ebay to resell(only they sit in boxes). Torry Holt and Rams collecting, and of course the Childress Auto Collection! ... I think I need help!! LOL
